Race 1: GALILEE BASIN HAULAGE & PLANT HIRE RATINGS BAND 0 – 60 HANDICAP - 1000 metres
 
Jockey L. Dillon was the rider of HAYYLER’S TARY and permitted to ride 1kg overweight.
 
NO OTHER WAY – Slow into stride.
 
TYRANNY – Awkward and slow to begin.
 
HIDDEN ROAD – Bounded out of the gates awkwardly dislodging apprentice A. Ross. App Ross declared herself free of injured and was able to fulfil her remaining engagements.
 
 
Race 2: SAUNDERS ELECTRICS CONTRACTING CLASS 6 PLATE - 1100 metres 
 
 
CHIEF ADVOCATE – Slow to begin and travelled wide in the early and middle stages.
 
DRAYMAN – Lay out under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
GOWER – Ran about down the home straight.
 
NICKLEBY – Travelled wide in the middle stages.
 
 
Race 3: ORLANDO ORCHARDS LONGREACH CLASS B HANDICAP - 1300 metres  
 
Apprentice E. Bell was the rider of THUNDER.
 
ARGENTO PERLO – Travelled wide in the early and middle stages.
 
DREAM CAPTAIN – Slow to muster speed and raced ungenerously throughout. Jockey L. Dillon stated he felt like a tired horse.
 
BURJ AL – Hung out rounding the home turn.
 
THUNDER – Travelled wide in the early and middle stages.
 
 
Race 4: SHELL LONGREACH SERVICE CENTRE OPEN PLATE - 1300 metres  
 
HOLEY GADOLEY - Was a late scratching at 12.30pm due to no rider being available.
 
MENACING – Travelled wide for much of the race.
 
KAKAKENNY – Stood flat footed in the gates losing considerable ground and then travelled wide for the majority of the race. On returning to the mounting yard the gelding was lame and it was noted that 3 shoes had been dislodged in running.
 
OUR BEATNIK – Travelled wide for much of the race.
 
 
Race 5: CAMM AG & OAKEY BEEF EXPORTS CLASS 4 HANDICAP - 1400 metres      
 
SONG ONE – Slow into stride and travelled wide for much of the race.
 
CALIFORNIA RAIDER – Travelled wide in the middle stages of the event.
