Race 1: BARKERS NEWSAGENCY QTIS MAIDEN PLATE - 1000 metres
 
Jockey D. Adam was permitted by stewards to ride ANDRUM 2kg over weight, however Jockey Adam was reminded of his obligation when accepting rides.
 
ANDRUM – Slow to begin and raced into restricted room near the 300m.
 
ANGRY DESERT – Hung out down the home straight.
 
ROUND ‘EM UP – Travelled wide for much of the race.
 
DOCAROCKET – Jumped away awkwardly and slowly then travelled wide for much of the race.
 
RECONIS – Jumped away awkwardly hitting jockey Schumacher’s knee on the barriers, then slow to muster speed. Held up for clear running leaving the 200m.
 
YOU’RE NOT WANTED – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
 
Race 2: ANDERSON HARRIS BOOKMAKERS CLASS B HANDICAP - 1000 metres 
 
TENT LOVER was a late scratching at 12pm as there were no riders available.
 
Jockey D. Adam was permitted to ride 1/2kg overweight on TRUST ME GUS.
 
ARGENTO PERLO – Travelled wide for the majority of the race.
 
DEFYING LUCK – Contacted at the start, eased near the 600m when an outside runner shifted in.
 
EXCEED TO WIN – Lunged at the gates and reared as the gates opened.
 
SAME OLD STORY – Jumped awkwardly contacting an inside runner.
 
WICKED GRIMSHAW – Lunged at the gates just prior to the start being affected, then the gates came back onto the gelding causing him to lose considerable ground.
 
ZORRO FEMININO – Kicked out just prior to the start being affected, then lunged at the gates and the gates then came back on to the filly.
 
SALLY’S SHADOW – Lunged at the gates prior to them opening causing the filly to be slow away then travelled wide for the majority.
 
THUNDER – Lunged at the gates and reared as they opened nearly dislodging jockey M. Haley and losing considerable ground at the start.
 
 
 
Race 3: BROWNE SMASH REPAIRS OPEN HANDICAP - 1000 metres  
 
Jockey D. Adam returned to the mounting yard after race 2 extremely distressed and was treated by ambulance officers for heat stress and dehydration. Stewards stood Jockey Adam down for the remainder of the day. Jockey D. Adam was advised a medical clearance would be required prior to racing riding again.
 
M. Milford was the replacement rider for D. Adam on DRAGON FIRE.
 
ZENDAYE – Jumped away awkwardly, slow to begin and travelled wide for much of the race.
 
CHOI OI – Travelled wide for most of the race.
 
SAMUEL JAMES – The gates came back on the gelding hampering his start.
 
WICKED WOODY – Slow into stride.
 
 
Race 4: THURECHT BROS. SADDLERY CLASS 4 PLATE- 1100 metres  
 
C. Schumacher was the replacement rider for D. Adam on WICKED EXPRESS.
 
CALIFORNIA RAIDER – Travelled wide for much of the race.
 
LEROY ROCKS – Travelled wide in the middle and late stages.
 
AVIOD THE MISSUS – Jumped outwards and hung out down the home straight under pressure.
 
RIVER BOY – Jumped inwards, finished tailed off not appreciating the track conditions.
 
SWISS LOVE – Checked, losing considerable ground at the start when runners either side shifted ground.
 
BARD OF ARMAH – Fractious in the gates prior to jumping.
 
 
Race 5: WATTS CATERING BM 50 HANDICAP - 1200 metres      
 
SINAMORE – Travelled wide for the majority of the race.
 
TABRIZ – Slow to muster speed and finished tailed off.
 
ICE MELODY – Travelled wide in the middle and late stages.
 
NEVADA MO – Jumped away awkwardly and slowly.
