Race 1: IMPARJA CLASS 4 PLATE - 1400 metres
 
 
SHADOW VISION – Over raced in the early stages.
 
MAKUBA – Travelled wide from the 600m and lay in down the home straight under pressure.
 
THUNDER – Fractious in the barriers prior to jumping, then slow into stride. Jockey L. Dillon stating the gelding was on the wrong leg the entire event. A post-race veterinary inspection showed no significant findings.
 
 
Race 2: GALILEE BASIN HAULAGE & PLANT HIRE CLASS B HANDICAP - 1300 metres 
 
 
THE MARSHALL was a late scratching at 1.00 pm as there was no rider available.
 
LONG STORY SHORT – Jumped away awkwardly and travelled wide from the 400m to gain clear running.
 
KAOS AGENT – Slow to begin, jumping outwards losing several lengths. Eased close to home and a post-race veterinary inspection revealed no major issues. Trainer R. Simpson stating the gelding would now go for a spell.
 
 
 
 
Race 3: SAUNDERS ELECTRICAL CONTRACTING OPEN HANDICAP - 1300 metres  
 
BUSH CAVIAR was scratched due to being ineligible to race.
 
HEROISM – Over-raced in the early stages.
 
Jockey D. Reward was permitted by stewards to ride WICKED WOODY 1kg overweight.
 
AMADEO – Jumped away awkwardly and raced wide for much of the race.
 
 
Race 4: ORLANDO ORCHARDS CLASS 6 PLATE - 1100 metres  
 
ME MYSELF AND I – Eased at 850m losing momentum as an outside runner shifted ground.
 
TURKEY BEACH – Over-raced in the early stages and shifted ground near the 850m hindering another runner.
 
ZUKAZ – Travelled wide from the 600m and lay in over the concluding stages.
 
 
Race 5: CAMM AG & OAKEY BEEF EXPORTS QTIS RATINGS BAND 0 – 60 HANDICAP - 1000 metres      
 
CHARLES – Knuckled at the start.
 
LEO’S EXPRESS – Gates bounced back on the gelding causing it to be slow away.
 
IMAGINALTHEPEOPLE – Jumped away awkwardly with his head in the air losing ground.
 
RERCONIS – Travelled wide for the much of the event.
