Race 1: CLEAR MOUNTAIN FAIRVIEW BENCHMARK 55 Handicap (1400 METRES)
 
HEROISM, over raced approaching the first turn then shortly after for some distance.
 
BRAVE NICK, had to replated in the near fore prior to leaving the saddling enclosure.
Bumped with DO I HAVE TO at the start.
 
HELMET HEAD, Tightened HEROISM near the 800 metres.
 
 
DO I HAVE TO, bumped with BRAVE NICK at the start. Near the 800 metres was tightened for room on the outside by HEROISM which was over racing severely despite the efforts of its rider.
 
PORTABELLE, slow into stride, and tightened for room for a short distance approaching the first turn. Had to steady and lose ground near the 800 metres when tightened by DO I HAVE TO.
 
 
Race 2: JOHN DOWNES BENCHMARK 45 Handicap (1200 METRES)
 
 
PRIZED ARTIST, fractious prior to the start and was slow into stride.
 
REALLY REALLY GOOD, fractious prior to the start and was slow into stride and raced wide throughout.
 
LUNA GLIDE, was hampered coming around the home turn and raced three wide throughout.
 
MISS SIZZ, lay in over the concluding stages.
 
THE LANDING, raced wide throughout without cover.
 
HOT CHOCOLATE, run up onto heels approaching the home turn and bumped ROSAIRE out then became awkward on the heels of PRIZED ARTIST shortly after. Apprentice jockey Tyler Leslight was severely admonished for the actions on HOT CHOCOLATE and was advised to be more patient with rides in regard to looking for runs.
 
Race 3: Peter Anderson & Shaun Harris Benchmark 45 (1200 METRES)
 
 
KARBORS, approaching the finish line bumped with ALGEROBA.
 
ALGEROBA, coming around the first turn lay in onto KARBORS.
 
PARA PARK, slow into stride and race wide throughout.
 
SHEMADEMEDOIT, lay in coming around the home turn.
 
LOVE YOU LINDA, slow to begin.
 
 
Race 4: MERINO BAKERY RATINGS BAND 0 – 60 Handicap (1200 METRES)
 
ROYO, approaching the first turn was forced out by VIKING RAID.
 
MUSIC AWARD, raced wide throughout.
 
GOD’S PENNY, slow into stride.
 
AMADEO, slow into stride.
 
 
Race 5: BALLARD INSURANCE SERVICES CLASS 6 Plate (1200 METRES)
 
ARCHADE, raced wide throughout.
 
KALMAR, began awkwardly.
 
LIVE AND FREE, began awkwardly and showed no early speed, raced wide throughout.
 
TREBLA, over raced severely approaching the first turn and had to be restrained for some distance placing the rider in difficulty.
 
ZILITOR, raced wide throughout.
 
 
 
Race 6: LONGREACH TYRE CENTRE Maiden Plate (1000 METRES)
 
BURRACOMBE, began awkwardly and laid in under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
OUR YOUNG MAN, jockey Ric McMahon who was overweight was replaced by jockey Robbie Faehr. Mr McMahon was fined $200 pursuant to AR190(3)
 
SIR PAISLEY, raced wide throughout.
 
HYPE WIRE, began awkwardly.
 
TYPHOON TALAYAH, began awkwardly.
 
 
Race 7: 4LG+WEST FM QTIS CLASS 3 Handicap (1000 METRES)
 
BOTTOM LINE, slow to begin.
 
MISHANI OPERATOR, raced wide throughout.
 
ANOTHER TOSSER, bumped by BLADE MAN shortly after the start and lay out over the concluding stages.
 
BLADE MAN, bumped ANOTHER TOSSER shortly after the start.
 
ALLELUA, bumped NITT WHIT at the start and raced wide throughout.
 
NITT WHITT, bumped by ALLELUA at the start and raced wide throughout.
 
 
Race 8: ARTHUR & BERYL WOOD MEMORIAL OPEN HANDICAP (1000 METRES)
 
 
ZUKAZ, raced wide throughout.
 
FULLY MAXED, bumped with HAN DYNASTY at the start.
 
AMERICAN GENIUS, slow into stride.
 
VAN WINKEL, began awkwardly and a result was slow into stride.
 
ANCIENT ECHOES, raced wide throughout.
 
HAN DYNASTY, bumped with FULLY MAXED at the start.
 
ACEPLAY, at the start was squeezed between WALL STREET TYCOON who jumped out and ANCIENT ECHOES which jumped in and raced green in the straight.
