Brady Race 1: DAWSONS INDUSTRIES/RAY WHITE/PICCONE'S FAMILY OF COMPANIES BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP – 1000 Metres COULD YOU BE LOVED – Declared a late scratching at 12.15pm due to no suitable rider being available. CARPE NOCTEM – Declared a late scratching at 12.15pm due to no suitable rider being available. BETTER THAN SILVER – Trainer S. D’Avila was fined the sum of $100 in that she failed to declare D. Smith as the rider by the prescribed time.WOOHOO GIRL BILL 'N' TED – Became fractious as the start was effected, reared and took no part in the race. Trainer N. Seymor was advised he must obtain two consecutive barrier certificates prior to the gelding being permitted to race again. SPEED EIGHT – Raced wide for the majority of the race. HAND OF FAITH – Raced wide for the majority of the race. Race 2: STOCKLICK TRADING/SMITH BROS TRANSPORT/TROY CUMMINGS LOCKSMITH CLASS 3 PLATE – 1200 Metres CADENCE – Trainer J. Ryan was fined the sum of $100 in that she failed to declare as the rider by the prescribed time. Over-raced in the early stages. JOURNEY OF SONG – Slow to begin. BULLET STORM – Slow to begin.VAN GAAL – Over-raced in the early stages. VALIDAR – Slow to begin. Laid out for the majority of the race. Race 3: CROSS CUSTOM MEATS/CHOICES FLOORING/TONKIN STEEL BOB ATKINSON MEMORIAL BRACELET OPEN HANDICAP – 1200 Metres LUSHAN – Fractious in the barriers prior to the start. SALESMAN – Unable to muster early speed. Race 4:PETERS ATV & OUTDOOR EQUIPMENT/FEED & SADDLE SHED/FRANSEN PLUMBING QTIS MAIDEN PLATE – 1350 Metres ZULU REIGN – Was examined prior to start and was found to have a small laceration to the inside of its off-side nostril and was cleared to start. Finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer F. Wieland was advised FAST ENUFF – Over-raced in the early stages. SHRECK – Raced ungenerously in the early when being restrained. Over-raced in the early stages. Race 5: COUNTRY MILE HELICOPTERS/EACHAM STOCK FEED MM/ROB KOCH MEM/FNQ UP&C STAYERS BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP – 1680 Metres CASURINA STAR – Slow to begin. Lost its off hind plate during in running. LET'S CONQUER – The inside barrier gate bounced back after opening, slightly hampering the gelding. This was brought to the starter’s attention. ROTH'N'BELL – Over-raced in the middle stages.
