Race 1: CURLEY CATTLE TRANSPORT MAIDEN PLATE 800m E TRA- 12:55PM CURLEY CATTLE TRANSPORT Maiden1s
PERDANERITE which was resuming after a lengthy absence from racing was vetted and passed fit to start. 
 
IRISH WINE - Jumped in at the start bumping with another runner. 
 
LEONIDAS - Bumped by another runner on jumping. Raced wide rounding the home turn. 
 
HOW THE LOOK - Raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
SHOO FLY SHOO - Raced wide rounding the home turn. 
 
Race 2:  LINFOX BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP 1400m
 
YOUR WAY OR MINE – Broke through barrier after being loaded. Was quickly restrained and passed fit to start by the Veterinarian. Jumped awkwardly losing ground at the start. 
 
STEERING - Broke through barrier after being loaded. Was quickly restrained and passed fit to start by the Veterinarian.  

ROCK SPARK   -  Bumped by another runner on jumping. 
 
NOVEMBER GREY - Jumped out at the start bumping with another runner. Jockey A Spradau advised the gelding was unable to muster early pace and raced near the tail of the field before gaining some ground on straightening, however near the 300m commenced to race ungenerously due to resenting kickback. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed only a minor skin laceration to near side hip.   
 
Race 3: FMR QTIS CLASS 2 HANDICAP 1200m
 
HOTILLA – Raced wide for the majority. 
 
ROCK ON SKYE - Raced wide rounding the 800m turn. 
 
DAMGOODCHOICE – Jockey Ms. T Tincknell advised that after being slowly away she had ridden vigorously in an attempt to improve her position, but  the gelding had never travelled comfortably in running and in her opinion was disappointing.  A post-race Veterinary examination revealed a minor laceration to the near fore and some discomfort in the near lumbar region. Trainer Mr. P Miller was advised a Veterinary certificate of fitness is required prior to next start. 
 
BELEM GREY – A post-race Veterinary examination revealed an injury to near side fore leg. Trainer Mr. G Wiles was advised a Veterinary certificate of fitness is required prior to next start. 
 
 
Race 4: BRODIE HARDWARE BENCHMARK 45 HANDICAP 1000m
 
EXTRA -   Slowly into stride. 
 
ALBERT THE ROCKET - Slowly into stride. Raced wide throughout. 
 
COBUNGRA BOY - Slowly into stride. 
 
MARINE ON PARADE - Raced wide rounding the home turn. 
 
HAPPY SHOPPO - Raced wide for the majority.
 
RUBIDUS - Raced wide rounding the home turn. 
 
EIGHTH KEEPER – Late scratching at barriers at 3.05pm by order of Stewards acting on Veterinary advice, after being found to be lame in the off hind leg. Trainer Ms. T Parry was advised a Veterinary certificate of fitness is required prior to next start.  Prior to the declaration of correct weight, Stewards ordered that all monies wagered on EIGHTH KEEPER be refunded in full, and further that all successful wagers placed on the event prior to 3.05pm be subject to deductions of 7cents win and 8 cents place in the dollar on the face value of the betting ticket.
 
RACE 5:  SOUTH 32 MCKINLAY CUP OPEN HANDICAP 1800m

CHESTNUT ROAD – Raced wide in the early and middle stages. 
 
LEO’S SPIRIT (NZ) - Raced wide rounding the home turn.

REBEL ROVER - Began awkwardly bumping with another runner and losing ground. 
 
BOOT SHAKER - Bumped by another runner on jumping.
