Jones Race 1: – CURLY CATTLE TRANSPORT Maiden Plate – 800M EYNHALLOW – Was a late scratching at 11.30am, when unable to be loaded onto the float to be transported to the course. ROMANI STAR - Was a late scratching at 12.25pm as no rider was available. MY MINBD IS MADE UP – Slow into stride. Raced wide and hung out around the 600m. SCOTTABEE – Bumped by another runner on jumping and forced wider on the home turn by inside horses. BOY IN A MILLION – Jumped outwards at the start contacting with another runner. HEREBANEEK – Slow into stride. SUNNYSIDE – Slow into stride. Race 2: - LINFOX BenchMark 60 Handicap – 1400M TWO OF A KIND – Was a late scratching at 12.25pm as no rider was available. ALLUDER – Trainer J. Jackson was severely reprimanded for carelessness in saddling the gelding. CHOCOLATE BOLT – Slow into stride. Raced wide for the majority of the race. GOING GREY – Jumped outwards at the start contacting with another runner.. CHAMPAGNE TALES – Bumped by another runner on jumping. Raced wide rounding the home turn. OVER THE VENTURE – Raced wide rounding the 1000m turn. HOLEY GADOLEY – Raced wide rounding the 1000m and home turn.YOUR WAY OR MINE – Raced wide rounding the home turn. WULFWIN – Raced wide rounding the home turn. TARGET STRIKE – Raced wide rounding the home turn. Race 3: - FMR QTIS Class 3 Plate – 1200M NICCONI PASQUALE - Prior to the declaration of correct weight rider D. Sparks made application to have the gelding declared as a non runner as the starting gate had not opened in unison with the others denying him a fair start. After viewing the patrol film Stewards declared NICCONI PASQUALE a non runner and ordered that all bets on the gelding to be refunded with a deduction of 7 cents in the dollar on the face value of all successful bets for the win and eight cents in the dollar on the face value of all successful bets for the place. MY CRIMSON LAD – Slow into stride. Raced wide for the majority of the race. WICKED INVESTMENT – Slow into stride. Raced wide for the majority of the race. JETTY BETTY – Raced wide for the majority of the race. CRYSTAL BEAR – Raced wide rounding the home turn. GREY SAMBUCCA – Raced wide rounding the home turn. NOTHING TO DANCE – Raced wide rounding the home turn. Race 4: - BRODIE HARDWARE Class B Handicap – 1000M BUGSY MALONE – Refused to load into the barriers. Scratched by order of Stewards. No alteration to betting. Trainer C. Hampton was advised BUGSY MALONE is to successfully complete a barrier jumpout before starting again. KAWANA VIVA – Inspected by Veterinary Surgeon at barriers at request of rider and passed fit to race. Jumped awkwardly making contact with another runner losing ground. DO I HAVE TO – Bumped by another runner on jumping. ALIENATE – Jumped out contacting another runner at the start. ALPHA STRYKE – Bumped by another runner on jumping. Raced wide for the majority of the race. KICKSTARTER – Raced wide for the majority of the race. DENLAGO – Slow to begin and raced wide rounding the home turn. OAKFIELD SUNSET – Raced wide rounding the home turn. LORD WINDERMERE – Raced wide for the majority of the race. Race 5: - SOUTH 32 MCKINLAY CUP OPEN Handicap – 1800MMENACING – Jumped inwards at the start. When questioned regarding its poor performance rider D. Rewald advised the gelding had led which is its normal racing pattern but was disappointing when placed under pressure and could offer no excuses. ANYMORE – A post race veterinary examination revealed the horse have bled from both nostrils. Trainer S. Royes was advised pursuant to AR 53A(1) that the gelding cannot start in a race for three months and then only after successfully completing a 1000m gallop to stewards satisfaction. Race 6: - WARN FENCING OPEN Handicap – 1000M DAMGOODCHOICE – Slow to begin. REBEL ROVER – Began awkwardly. MAGIC JEWEL – Raced wide rounding the home turn. BENCHI PEGASUS – Raced wide rounding the home turn. Rider D. Rewald was reminded of his obligations in regards to his use of the whip prior to the 100m. ANZUS – Raced wide rounding the home turn. Raced in restricted room near the 300 metres. WICKED WIKI – Raced wide rounding the home turn. WEATHERVANE – Raced wide rounding the home turn.
