RACE 1: ELROSE PLANT HIRE JOHN FORSTER PATRONS GIFT OPEN PLATE – 900M  
 
LUNAR LUCK – As no other suitable rider was available, K. Ballardwas  permitted to ride the gelding 2.5kg over its allocated weight.
 
BORN TO FIRE – Bounded in the air as the start was effected and lost ground.
 
CRAIGLEA CRUZ – Slow to begin.
 
DIURNAL TIGER – Raced 3 wide without cover for the majority of the race.
 
RACE 2: LEN DOWD AND CO. ELECTRICAL CARTER FAMILY QTIS BENCHMARK 50 H’CAP – 900M 
 
Trainer S. Gabriel-Royce was fined the sum of $100.00 in that she failed to scratch BORN TO FIRE which started in the previous race by required time.  
 
SPLIT THE ATOM – Slow to begin.
 
CRAIGLEA SWIFT – Slow to begin.
 
THE GIRLS IN PARIS – Raced 3 wide without cover for the majority of the race.
 
RACE 3: RICHMOND FREIGHT TRANSPORT MAIDEN PLATE – 1000M 
 
CRATLOE – As no other suitable rider was available, A. Spradau was permitted to ride the gelding 1kg over its allocated weight. Finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination  revealed no abnormalities. Trainer T. Parry was advised a warning would be placed on the filly’s competitiveness.
 
RISKY TRIO – As no other suitable rider was available, T. Tincknell was permitted to ride the gelding 1.5kg over its allocated weight. Slow into stride. Finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer T. Parry was advised a warning would be placed on the filly’s competitiveness.   

 VALENTINE’S DAY – Became fractious entering the track dislodging rider J. Babarovich. After cantering some distance VALENTINE’S DAY was recaptured and was declared a late scratching by order of Stewards at 2.37pm. On the announcement of correct weight all monies invested on VALENTINE’S DAY were ordered to be refunded with the following deductions to be applicable, 6 cents in the dollar on the face value of all win bets and 8 cents in dollar on the face value of all place bets. Trainer R. Herman was advised a warning would placed on the horses pre-race manners. Jockey J. Babarovich declared himself free of any injury.
 
RACE 4: BOB CLARKE MEMORIAL CLASS B H’CAP – 1200M 
 
THE KING’S MAGIC – As no other suitable rider was available, D. Ballard  was permitted to ride the gelding 1kg over its allocated weight.
 
HOT PROSPECT – As no other suitable rider was available,T. Tincknell was permitted to ride the gelding 1kg over its allocated weight.
 
LORD WINDERMERE – Raced wide in the early stages of the race.
 
WATTO’S JET – Raced wide for the majority of the race. Saddle shifted back approaching leaving the 700m placing its rider at a disadvantage and as a result was eased out of the race finishing tailed off.      
 
RACE 5: LIBERTY RURAL MAXWELTON CUP BENCHMARK 65   H'CAP – 1200M 
 
CODE ONE – Was declared a late scratching at 4.19pm by order of Stewards when the gelding refused to load. On the announcement of correct weight all monies invested on CODE ONE were ordered to be refunded with deductions of 37 cents in the dollar on the face value of all win bets and 23 cents in the dollar on the face value of all place bets to be applicable. Trainer S. Royes was advised he must obtain 2 further barrier certificates before the horse would be permitted to race again.
 
NIGHT WOLF – Fractious in the barriers and began awkwardly.
 
REBEL ROVER – Began awkawardly.
 
YOUR WAY OR MINE – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
