Race 1: Flexihire Open Handicap 1000m
 
EXCEPTIONAL RHYTHM – Slow into stride. Raced three wide throughout without cover.
 
ARCHIE’S SON – Proved difficult to load. Knuckled on jumping nearly dislodging Jockey G Steele and as a result she lost her off side iron. Raced five wide throughout without cover. Jockey Steele was reprimanded for being overweight.
 
LOKUM – Jumped inwards at the start and bumped a runner to the inside. Failed to show any speed throughout the race.
 
TYRANNIZE – Tightened between two runners at the start and lost ground.
 
LOVESON – Jumped out at the start and bumped another runner.
 
Race 2: Coolibah Concrete Maiden Plate 1170m
 
Prior to the declaration of correct weight, Jockey D Evans requested to view the photo finish in relation to third place. After doing so, he was satisfied with the judges placing and correct weight was declared.
 
DRUMEOUS – Raced three wide throughout without cover.
 
CRAIGLEA TREACLE – Raced three wide throughout with cover.
 
COMBATTANT DE RUE – Raced wide throughout.
 
DAWN MOON – Began awkwardly and as a result was slow into stride.
 
STELLA STARLIGHT – Slow into stride and failed to muster any early speed.
 
 
Race 3: Top Tune Diesel QTIS BenchMark 50 Handicap 1170m
 
GLORY ACCOUNT – Raced five wide without cover throughout.
 
MILNE BAY – Raced four wide without cover throughout.
 
BOLD SAM – Slow into stride. Raced four wide with cover throughout.
 
LUCKY BEE – Raced three wide without cover throughout.
 
SET TO CONQUER – Raced four wide without cover throughout.
 
ENEMY OF MAN – Shifted out across the heels of another runner near the 120 metres to obtain clear running.
 
ANGEL OF WAR – Bounded in the air on jumping and lost ground.
 
Race 4: Dyno Nobel BenchMark 60 Handicap 1400m
 
GLOBAL ROCKET – Slow into stride.
 
CAPTAINS WAY – Raced three wide throughout without cover.
 
SATURN OPS – Raced wide throughout.
 
Race 5: CFMEU Class B Handicap 1550m
 
Trainer J Campeao was reprimanded for failing to scratch DRUMEOUS by the prescribed time. In determining a penalty Stewards considered that the error was correct in time and did not cost DYDEE’S GIRL a start.
 
DYDEE’S GIRL – Stewards accepted the explanation for the late declaration of App. S Gittos as rider. Shifted out shortly after the start for a few strides hampering ZOFFANY ROCKET.
 
ZOFFANY ROCKET – Had to be steadied for a few strides shortly the start when another runner shifted out. Jockey R Oakford was fined $100 for using the whip on more than five occasions prior to the 100 metres.
 
LA JULIETTE – Raced wide throughout with cover.
 
BEHIND THE THISTLE – Raced wide throughout without cover. App. M Kenndy was reprimanded for using the whip on more than five occasions prior to the 100 metres.
 
THE DECKRAIDER – Jockey D Simmons was fined $100 for using the whip on more than five occasions prior to the 100 metres.
