Race 4 CADOUIN was declared a late scratching at 11:45am due to no jockeys being available.
Race 1: WESTERN QLD EARTHMOVING BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP 1000 M
ZA HIDDEN DRAGON Raced wide early without cover.
GAZZMAN Began awkwardly.Raced wide down the home straight.
REAL HUSSEY Stewards permitted Apprentice O. O’Donnell to only claim 1.5kg of her 3kg allowance when no other jockey was available. Apprentice O. O’Donnell was fined $200 under AR143(14)(a). Began awkwardly.
BONNIE EV Raced wide with cover.
SAVVY SONG Apprentice J. Golden was fined $300 under rule AR132(7)(a)(ii) for applying the whip 3 additional times, then permitted prior to the 100m.
SODBUSTER Slow to begin.
Race 2: SAMIOS TRADING POST QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1000 M
ALL HELL Slow to begin.
JULIMAR Raced wide throughout.
ROGUE ARTIST Hung out around the home turn and approaching the 200m.
SEEBURG Began awkwardly.
SISTER MARGUERITE Over-raced in the early stages. Hung out rounding the home turn.
LET'S GO THEN Laid in near the 200m before being quickly corrected by its rider.
Race 3: NUTRI-LICK BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP 1400 M
PACKAGE Raced wide throughout. Laid out under pressure in the home straight.
HEAT Raced wide throughout.
FAMUS FELLA Slow into stride.
PHYLAVE Slow into stride. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which failed to reveal any significant abnormalities.
TWO DUCKS ARTIE Declared a late scratching on veterinary advice when injured in the horse transport vehicle on route to races. Prior to the declaration of correct weight Stewards ordered all monies invested on the mare to be refunded with the following deductions applicable to all successful wagers placed prior to 3:00pm.
1st 20c win, 16c place.

3rd 16c place.
Trainer Wyne Baker was advised the gelding would require a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to again being permitted to start in a race.
Race 4: MITCHELL MOTEL BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP 1200 M
MISERY MISS Crowded on jumping. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed a poor post-race recovery. Trainer M Patterson was advised that the mare would require a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to again being permitted to start in a race.
KARARA LAD Began awkwardly.
EIL 'N' ALL Obliged to shift wider near the 400m to obtain clear running.
OAKFIELD BLOSSOM Began awkwardly.
BOLD ADMIRAL Raced wide throughout the race.
Race 5: BOORINGA CUP OPEN HANDICAP 1200 M
DALTORO Slow into stride. Race wide for the majority. Hung in for the majority of the race. Trainer J Patterson was advised that a waring would been placed on the gelding.
JAKAMA Slow into stride.
