Jky G Walters and Appr Jky M Mankelow were permitted to ride at this venue with Stewards permitting the following weight variations: Race 5- Jky G Walters +.5kg, Race 5- Jky C Rogers +1.5kg due to the lack of riders at today’s meeting. KUDU- At approximately the 950m point Jky G Walters allowed his mount to shift out when trying to gain a more forward position from the wide barrier. Inconveniencing runners to the inside. Stewards inquired into the incident and were of the view that Jky G Walters had allowed his mount to shift out resulting in COUNTRY BOYZ being taken inward, losing his position and momentum. Also, that SWISS BABE was inconvenienced with the rider having to take hold and marginally GRAEWAZI. Stewards took into consideration the location of the interference, the horse’s racing manners, the amount of interference and acting under the provision of AR131(a) Careless riding Stewards issued Jky G Walters a Reprimand for his breach of the rule. Raced wide for the majority.

COUNTRY BOYZ- Slow to begin and then was inconvenienced when KUDU crossed resulting in COUNTRY BOYZ being tightened between KUDO and SWISS BABE losing ground and momentum. Raced wide for the majority of the event.
