WALLACH – Began awkwardly and shifted in nearly clipping the heels of SPOT ON resulting in Jockey D Simmons becoming unbalanced for a short time. Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
Race 2: Middlemount South BenchMark 65 Handicap 1000m
 
HAYYLER’S TARY – Began awkwardly and shifted out. Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
ARARRAC – Began awkwardly and shifted in.
 
Race 3: Isaac Regional Council QTIS Maiden Plate 1200m
 
SHAGRIMMY – Slow to begin. Raced four wide without cover throughout.
 
LUCKY BEE – Raced three wide without cover in the early stages.
 
FROZE – Commenced to shift out under pressure from near the 200 metres and was corrected on a number of occasions until near the winning post.

SATURN OPS – Slow to begin.
 
LADY ELLEY – Slow to begin.
 
THE DECKERAIDER – Raced three wide without cover throughout.
 
BEHIND THE THISTLE – Attempted to buck for a short distance shortly after the start. A representative of Trainer B Johnson was advised that the gelding must trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to racing again.
 
Race 5: Angloamerican Middlemount Cup Open Handicap 1475m
 
MOHAKA RIVER – Slow to begin. Steadied near the 1200m when slightly tightened by ARIGOLD and STONE WARRIOR.
 
CALYPSO BAY – Raced four wide without cover throughout.
 
STONE WARRIOR – Raced three wide without cover throughout.
 
SHIRANDA – Shifted out under pressure near the 50 metres.
 
ARIGOLD – Shifted out under pressure near the 200 metres.
 
DON’T WE LOVE IT – Steadied slightly and shifted in approaching the winning post when SHIRANDA shifted out under pressure.
