SUPPLEMENTARY REPORTS

RACE 1: LAURIE WESTON MAIDEN PLATE – 1050M.
Upon returning to scale R Kerwin, the rider of the second placegetter LA ESPLANADE, lodge a protest again first past the post REIGNING HAIL being declared the winner alleging interference over the concluding stages. After taking evidence from both riders and viewing of the patrol film it was established that whilst LA ESPLANADE had been struck across the head with the other riders whip, this was due to LA EXPLANADE shifting ground inwards. The protest, therefore, was dismissed and correct weight given on the semaphored numbers.

OH TO ZIGZAG jumped with its head in the air and lost considerable ground.

R Kerwin, the rider of LA ESPLANADE, was severely reprimanded for failing to make sufficient effort to straighten her mount, which was inclined to hang in, as a result REIGNING HAIL was taken in onto the heels of ASKING and was forced to check.

LA ESPLANADE raced greenly through out.

RACE 2: HYLAN SEEDS CLASS B H’CAP - 1050M.
BLIND MAN’S BLUFF was slow to begin.

L McCoy, the rider of WESTDRUMS, made application to have her mount declared a non-runner as she felt her barrier had been slow to open. After viewing the patrol film it was established that the barrier opened with the other barriers and WESTDRUMS was declared a runner and correct weight was declared.
RACE 3: ELDERS, FOODWORKS AND QUEENSLAND HOTEL QTIS CLASS 5 H’CAP – 1200M.
LITTLE BEAUTIFUL jumped out at the start making contact with LAST HUMAM.

ZERO HERO blundered on jumping away.
