GENERAL
 
As S. Galloway was unable to fulfil his engagements due to illness, riding changes were made as per the Stewards Summary Sheet. A medical certificate would be required prior to his next riding engagements.
 
Race 1: Toxfree QTIS 3YO Handicap - 1200 metres
 
LONGING FOR Over raced in the early stages.
 
CRAIGLEA WEAPON It was observed that the horse had been restrained to take up a position closer to the running rail at the rear of the field. When questioned, Jockey A. Coome stated that his instructions were to place the horse midfield or to be in a rear position today due to the expected pace of the race. He did report to connections that the colt may require the reapplication of blinkers for its next start.
 
Race 2: MOJO Ratings Band 0-65 Handicap - 1560 metres
 
CRAIGLEA GHETTO -- Over raced in the early stages.
 
TURKEY BEACH - Raced keenly in the early and middle stages.
 
TAKINGS - When question regarding the performance, Jockey A Coome stated that the gelding had failed to travel well throughout and did not quicken at any stage when placed under pressure and its performance was disappointing. Trainer Mrs C Dore reported that blood tests would be conducted on TAKINGS in the coming days.
 
Race 3: Kevinns Place QTIS 3YO Maiden Handicap - 1560 metres
 
BAWAARDI ROCKET - Jockey D. Simmons replaced jockey S Galloway as the rider of the horse. Slow to begin.
 
ROCKSTAR ROCKET - Slow to begin.
 
NEED A WARRANT - Over raced in the early and middle stages.
 
CRAIGLEA UNIT - Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
Race 4: Channel Seven Maiden Handicap - 1200 metres
 
DAESY DANORO Raced wide with cover.
 
MURTAHOME Raced wide without cover. Hang out in the early stages of the straight, taking DAESY DANORO wider.
 
DAESY DANORO Forced wider in the early stages.
 
Race 5: Payne Print Open Handicap - 1800 metres
 
RICHIE ROCKET - Was fractious on the barriers.
 
FASTNET FLYER - Slow to begin. Shifted out near the 350 metres and bumped with CRAIGLEA WANDOO.
 
KHADIJA Jumped outwards at the start on to Star Fury.
 
STAR FURY Bumped at the start.
 
CRAIGLEA WANDOO - Raced three wide until near the 1200 metres before being restrained to take up a position midfield, one off the rail. Bumped near the 350m.
 
Race 6: Urban Kitchen Ratings 0-55 Handicap - 1800 metres
 
AUTHADANE As A. Butler was to be overweight, G. Kliese was substituted as the rider of the horse.. Jockey Butler was fined $100.
 
MISTY MONTANA Slow to begin.
 
CONCRETUS Slow to begin.
 
ALL GIRLS ROCK Jumped out onto GLAMORGAN BABE at the start, which was taken out on to BEYOND.

Race 7: MM Electrical Open Handicap - 1200 metres
 
SPORTING PAGE - The start of this race was delayed when the horse was reluctant to lead up to the barriers.. Jockey J. Stanley reported his mount laid in the straight.
 
AVONACO - Shifted in shortly after the start.
 
MISS ANNA - Was awkward on the heels of AVONACO soon after the start and taken in, causing ROCKETTE ROCKET to be hampered.
 
ROCKETTE ROCKET Hampered soon after the start.
 
BRADMAN - Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
Race 8: HB Boutique BM60 Handicap - 1300 metres
 
YOU DID WHAT P. Cullen replaced S. Galloway as the rider of the horse.
 
BELORUM - Slow to begin.
 
FRENCH SONG - Began awkwardly and raced ungenerously in the early stages.
 
CLATEAU - Rolled out approaching the home turn, and WHITEHOUSE AFFAIR advanced into a run to its inside. Near the 200 metres rolled back, placing WHITEHOUSE AFFAIR in restricted room for a short distance.
 
Race 9: Ubet BM 60 Handicap - 1050 metres
 
YOU DID WHAT W. DDAvila replaced S. Galloway as the rider of the horse. Slow into stride.
 
HAYYLERRS ILLUSION
As Jockey A. Coome was to be overweight, C. Jokic was substituted as the rider of the horse. Jockey Coome was fined $100.
 
MAHRAJAAN - Slow into stride. Jockey S. Watkin was reminded of his obligations with regard to his use of the whip on mounts when out of contention.
 
BOYS FROM THE BUSH - Held up for a short distance approaching the home turn.
 
MIA HOST - Was unable to obtain clear running from the 150 metres between BOYS FROM THE BUSH and GUTZ CI and shifted out abruptly, causingg IMPERIAL ATTITUDE to be steadied away from its heels.. Jockey D. Evans was reminded of his obligations to stop riding and straighten his mount in similar circumstances. Raced wide with cover.
 
IMPERIAL ATTITUDE - Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
FUTUREAL - When question regarding the performance, jockey A Butler stated that from the horsees training and its trial leading into this event, a forward showing was expected, however today the horse showed no early speed, and may have resented the tongue-tie on this occasion. He suggested to connections that it be stepped up in distance and the removal of this particular gear.
