Over raced early and middle stages. Rider A Butler was fined $400 for using his whip on six occasions one more than permitted prior to the 100m pursuant to AR132(7)(a)(ii). ALEYSA'S QUEEN – Jumped away awkwardly and shifted out abruptly at the start. Laid out rounding the home turn. Raced greenly under pressure in the straight.ANTIQUE LACE – Laid out rounding the home turn.THE APPOINTED TIME – Slow to begin and failed to muster early gate speed.THIRSTY – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after having to be reshod behind the barriers and was passed fit to start.Race 2: HP & CP AUSTRALIA Maiden Plate 1300 metresCHEMICAL STORM – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination due to not racing in excess of 12 months and was cleared to race. A post-race veterinary examination failed to detect any abnormalities. Trainer J Lancaster was advised CHEMICAL STORM was required to complete a satisfactory trial prior to resuming racing due to it being uncompetitive over the final stages. J Lancaster advised CHEMICAL STORM would be retired from racing. MAGNATE – Jumped away awkwardly. Laid inwards in the home straight. MOUNT DUMARESQ – Just prior to the jump turned its head, jumped away awkwardly and was slow into stride. Laid outwards rounding the bend. GIRL ON TOP – Raced wide throughout. Laid out rounding the home turn.LADY CECILIA – When questioned regarding the performance of LADY CECILIA trainer J Poots advised he was expecting a forward showing as it had received a chequered run in its previous two starts and he was not surprised with todays’ performance. ONCE EPONA TIME – Over raced early and middle stages. Raced greenly when placed under pressure in the straight. Shifted ground outwards near the 200m to avoid the heels of MAGNATE which laid inwards. WATCH LIST (NZ) – Reared on jumping away. Raced fiercely in the middle stages of the event placing apprentice rider M Castle in difficulty. Hung in when placed under pressure in the straight. Trainer J. Manzelmann was advised a warning was placed on the racing manners of the mare. Race 3: NHP ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING PRODUCTS OPEN Handicap 1300 metresAMMOUDI BAY – Over raced early and middle stages. Laid in under pressure in the straight.MASON'S CHANCE – Over raced early and middle stages. JACKPOT JAY – Over raced early and middle stages. Awkwardly placed on heels approaching the 250m. Laid inwards throughout the home straight. ELLE A WALKING – When questioned regarding the performance of ELLE A WALKING Apprentice rider C Collis advised he believed the distance of todays race may have been too short and the gelding would appreciate further distance in its upcoming races. BOLD ZIP – Slow to begin. Over raced early and middle stages. Race 4: MM ELECTRICAL NQ CLASSIC 3YO & 4YO QTIS BENCHMARK 65 Handicap 1800 metresBOOMBRASSTIC – Over raced through the early stages. GEOFFROY – Was passed to race after undergoing a pre-race veterinary examination due to racing within the previous seven days. Laid in during the early stages of the event.BERNIE BEEL – Laid inwards throughout the home straight.CADDY – Raced wide over the early stages. TAVIVALLEY (NZ) – Raced in restricted room passing the crossing near the 1600m. Over raced early stages. Race 5: SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC Class 3 Plate 1300 metresHURRICANE FIGHTER (NZ) – Rider A Butler advised the gelding over raced during the running which effected its finishing sprint. KAHAYLAAN – Slow to begin.KAAYDEH – Laid outwards approaching the 200m. Rider L Tilley reported the mare resented the use of the whip and he was instructed to ride the mare hands and heels and it was ridden accordingly. CHLOE JADE – Raced wide throughout. Briefly inconvenienced near the 900m. PLENTY OF TICKER – Laid out near the 900m making contact with CHLOE JADE. Race 6: NEXANS OLEX BENCHMARK 55 Handicap 1100 metresGRACIOUS GARCON – Laid inwards when improving wide near the 850m.WREN PLUCKED – Hampered on jumping. SCENT OF FEAR – Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room over the early and middle stages of the home straight. GETOUT OF MY NEIGH (NZ) – When questioned regarding the improved performance of the gelding trainer I Shaw advised that GETOUT OF MY NEIGH did not handle the hard nature of the track at Dingo and that a subsequent blood test revealed an abnormal blood count. Mr Shaw was reminded of his obligations to ensure in future he advises the Stewards of any condition that may effect the performance of his horse. CHEYENNE BEACH – Over raced early and middle stages. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room over the early stages of the run home. STRUMAN – Over raced early and middle stages. WITH TRUST – Jumped away awkwardly then was hampered shortly afterwards. ONLY EMMA – Raced wide throughout.
