PAPASITO – Trainer C. Taylor reported that PAPASITO had pulled up well following its performance on the 16th March and added that he would be continuing with the preparation unless anything else becomes apparent in the days subsequent.

GENERAL

Due to a flight containing multiple jockeys having to make an emergency stop for maintenance work, stewards’ permitted the following overweights in conjunction with the pre-approved weight variances;

Race 2. GOGGLEBOX – L. Tilley - +0.5kg
ANDIRON – J. Stanley - +1kg
LET’S ROLL – J. Taylor - +0.5kg
FAIRYBOWER FLYER – (a) Ms N. Olzard – Unable to claim
FRESH START – Ms T. Chambers - +1kg

Race 3. FLYING MAPLE – L. Tilley - +1kg

SHEEZALITTLETORQUE – L. Tilley - +1kg
WELL RESTED – (a) Ms G. Semmens - +1kg

Race 6. AIDENABET – J. Taylor - +0.5kg

Stewards permitted Jockey S. Sheargold to replace Jockey L. Tilley in Race 1 on MISHANI I AM to allow Jockey Tilley time to sweat to fulfill his remaining engagements.

As Jockey J. Huxtable was a late declaration for the event and unable to make the weight, stewards acceded to a request to allow Jockey G. Cartwright to replace him once she became available after her mount was withdrawn. As Jockey Huxtable was only informed of the ride at a late stage, Stewards took the matter no further.

As Jockey R. Wiggins was unable to make the weight on OSCAR BRAVO after being on the delayed plane, stewards acceded to a request for Jockey J. Huxtable to initially replace Jockey Wiggins. After accepting the ride, Jockey Huxtable approached stewards a short time later and informed them that he had misinterpreted the amount of weight the gelding had and therefore was unable to make weight. Stewards then acceded to a request for Jockey T. Chambers to become the rider of OSCAR BRAVO.
