The following runners were scratched due to no riders being available-

Race 1: FRED BALLINGALL MEMORIAL BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP 1000 metres
 
PART THE SEA- Due to there being no other rider available, Jockey N Morton was permitted to ride 2.5kg overweight.
 
USURP- Began awkwardly and was then tightened for room shortly after the start losing ground.
 
CLASSIC WIND- Began awkwardly and then hung out rounding the turn near the 800m.
 
ELITE GREY- Began awkwardly and then hung out rounding the turn near the 800m.
 
ENTERPRISE GRAND- Tightened on jumping away.
 
NINDAMOS- Slow to begin.
 
Race 2: KILLARNEY QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1200 metres
 
 
OLD LIQUORICE- Began awkwardly. Laid out during the middle stages.
 
BIG GEE- Dipped shortly after the start.
 
 
 
Race 3: NEBINE “DOUG CUTTING MEMEORIAL” BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP 1200 metres
 
KING CONI- Tightened for room at the start.
 
ALL TOO SWEET- Began awkwardly.
 
MAXIMUM HUSTLE- Tightened for room at the start.
 
 
 
 
 
Race 4: GRAHAM & IAN SHEPPARD MEMORIAL OPEN HANDICAP 1400 metres
 
No racing incidents.
 
 
Race 5: WARREGO BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP 1800 metres
 
 
ROTHABYE- Jockey B Moffat reported that in his opinion the gelding did not run out the 1800m of today’s event a further may not have backed up from its most recent run at Toowoomba 7 days prior to today’s event.
 
MASTER OF THE TURF- A Post race Veterinary examination of the gelding revealed it to be lame in the near foreleg. Trainer J Patterson was advised he would be required to obtain a Veterinary Certificate for the gelding prior to it next racing
