Race 1: RAPS Iceworks BenchMark 60 Handicap 1450 metres
1st - WULFWIN   2nd - DIURNAL TIGER  3rd - FRISCO JOURNEY   4th - SMOOTH GENERAL
 
DIURNAL TIGER – Raced wide for the majority.
 
WULFWIN – Shifted ground wide near the 1200 metres.
 
SMOOTH GENERAL - Was taken wider on track near the 1200 metres by another runner.
 
DUKE’S DELIGHT - Was inconvenienced and lost some ground at 1200 metre turn when inside runners shifted wider on the track.
 
SMOOTH GENERAL - Raced wide rounding the home turn. 
 
OAKFIELD REBEL – When questioned in relation to the performance of the gelding which raced below market expectations, App.L Dillon advised that the gelding, which was having its first start in the area, had raced wide until near the 600 metres and had then commenced to lose ground due to resenting the kickback. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed a superficial mouth injury.   
 
Race 2: Beef & Barra Class B Handicap 1000 metres
1st - YOUR WAY OR MINE  2nd - SATURDAY OF MAY   3rd - RAGE WITHIN  4th - MADE TO WIN
 
YOUR WAY OR MINE - Was reluctant to load into the barriers.
 
RAGE WITHIN – Was reluctant to load into the barriers. 
 
SATURDAY OF MAY – Jumped very awkwardly. When questioned in relation to the performance of the gelding which raced below market expectations, Jockey D Ballard advised that despite his urgings the gelding had never travelled comfortably at any stage. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. 
 
LUCKY APACHE – Raced wide throughout. Jockey T Tincknell reported that she was placed at a disadvantage for a short distance after losing her offside rein at the home turn.  
 
STAGE DANCER – Raced wide all the way.
 
HOTILLA -  Raced wide rounding the home turn. 
 
Jockeys T Tincknell and T Chambers were interviewed by Stewards following a post-race incident.  Both riders were cautioned and reminded of their responsibilities. 
 
Race 3: Surf & Turf Maiden Plate 1100 Metres
1st - BELL CHOISIR    2nd - NORTHERN FLASH    3rd - VEGANER   4th - SMILING MISTRESS
 
OAKFIELD ARCHIE - When questioned in relation to the performance of the gelding which raced below market expectations, Jockey D Ballard advised that after beginning awkwardly the gelding had commenced to hang out near the 600 metres. Jockey Ballard further stated that the gelding which was having its first start in the area did not handle the track conditions and had resented the kickback throughout. 
 
NORTHERN FLASH – Raced wide rounding home turn. 
 
Race 4: Lenards Express BenchMark 50 Handicap 1200 metres 
1st - LASTING IMAGE  2nd - TUNING  3rd - MY MICHELLE   4th - BORN TO FIRE
 
BORN TO FIRE – Crowded on jumping away and raced wide throughout.
 
MY MICHELLE - Crowded on jumping away.
 
TUNING - Crowded on jumping away.  Connections requested to view the photo of the finish, after doing so they were satisfied with the Judge’s decision and correct weight was declared. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed a near fore hoof injury. Trainer Ms. D Sanderson was advised a Veterinary Certificate would be required prior to next start.
 
CRAIGLEA SWIFT – Slowly into stride after jumping awkwardly. Raced wide throughout. App. L Dillon advised mare did not appreciate kickback during running.

MUSCAT - Slowly into stride. Raced wide throughout.    
 
MORE DUST – Raced wide rounding the 600 metre turn.
 
LASTING IMAGE -  Raced wide rounding the 600 metre turn.
 
Race 5: Race 1 - The Mighty Mud Crab Open Plate 1200 metres
1st - FIVE O’CLOCK    2nd - CRAIGLEA CRUZ   3rd - MOSSALE    4th -  REVEL IN THE CHAOS
 
FIVE O’CLOCK – Slowly away.
 
BEEGEES -  Raced in restricted room for a short distance when crowded soon after the start.
 
MOSSALE -  Raced wide rounding 600 metre turn.
 
CALDANE – Raced wide rounding 600 metre turn.
