Trainer Ms T Parry was advised a Veterinary clearance would be required prior to its next race start. Trainer Mr J Bawden was fined the sum of $100 for presenting his runners late to the enclosure. AR124. ALBERT THE ROCKET Bumped with another runner on jumping. Jockey J Babarovich reported the gelding resented the kickback throughout. LOGANNS RUN App D Evans reported the gelding resented the kickback throughout. LASTING IMAGE - Bumped with another runner on jumping. ZATOCHIO Raced 3 wide without cover in the early and middle stages. FRISCO JOURNEY Was inclined to lay in under pressure down the running. Race 2: CNW WORKING WITH THE ISA BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP 1450m: DAMGOODCHOICE - Withdrawn at 11.06am after Trainer Mr J Morris reported that the gelding had sustained injuries to both nearside legs due to becoming cast in its stable. Mr Morris was advised a Veterinary clearance would be required prior to its next race start. ROCK SPARK Slowly away. NOVEMBER GREY Slowly away. Raced wide throughout. AVALANCHES Slowly into stride. Raced wide in the early and middle stages. WULFWIN - Raced wide in the early and middle stages. NORTHERN STORM Raced wide for the majority. When questioned in relation to the performance of the gelding which raced below market expectations Trainer Mr J Morris advised that in his opinion the horse had come to the end of its preparation and it was his intention to spell the gelding immediately. Race 3: CNW MOUNT ISA QTIS CLASS 2 HANDICAP 1000 metres: TERRAPLEX AS no other suitable rider was available Stewards permitted Jockey L Attard to ride the gelding 1kg over its allotted weight. Jockey Attard reported that the gelding was reluctant to stretch out in the early and middle stages due to resenting the kickback. BAR QUEEN JOJO Raced wide in the early and middle stages. DAVEES VALOUR Jockey J Babarovich advised that the gelding resented the kickback in the early stages. Race 4: CNW THE PROUD AUSSIE OPEN PLATE 1000m: JABIRU DREAMING Trainer Mr J Bawden provided Stewards with a Veterinary clearance for the gelding, which was resuming from a prolonged absence from racing. Tired noticeably over the concluding stages. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. CRAIGLEA CRUZ Slowly into stride. Was reluctant to stretch out in the early stages despite the efforts of Jockey Ms T Tincknell and raced further back than was anticipated however found the line strongly. Race 5: CNW ELECTRICAL WHOLESALE BILL BRADEN MEMORIAL CLASS B HANDICAP 1200m: RED CHARMER Slowly away. LADY MARMALADE Began awkwardly. Raced wide in the early and middle stages. RUBIDUS - Raced wide in the early and middle stages. VEGANER - Raced wide in the early and middle stages. Was inclined to lay in under pressure down the running. GRANDZONE ROCKET Was inclined to race ungenerously in the early and middle stages.
