As jockey A. Spradau was indisposed today he was replaced as per Stewards Raceday Summary. Mr Spradau was advised he must provide a medical clearance before his next race ride.
 
 
RACE 1: THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK PREVIOUS COMMITTEE BENCHMARK 65 H’CAP – 1450M
 
MANDALONG PASS – Laid in under pressure leaving the 100m.    

RACE 2: WELCOME TO THE NEW COMMITTEE MAIDEN PLATE – 1100M
 
EYNHALLOW – Back legs slipped on jumping.
 
STARZARINA – Slow to begin.
 
FLOSSY – Began awkwardly. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
IMA POCKET ROCKET – Rider J. Babarovich was reminded of his obligations to ride his mount out right to the finish line.
 

RACE 3: STEEJO PRESS BENCHMARK 50 H’CAP – 1000M
 
SHE’S SHARP AS – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
MESSINES ROSE – Hampered by another runner which shifted in near the 200m.  
 
ECHELON ROSE – Commenced to lay in under pressure entering the home straight and shifted in near the 200m hampering a runner to its inside.
 
RACE 4: LES HUDDY MEMORIAL BRACELET OPEN PLATE – 1100M
 
ROTHSTEIN – Began awkwardly. Resented the sand kick back and raced ungenerously in the early stages.
 
YOUR WAY OR MINE – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
CRAIGLEA CRUZ – Lost ground when tightened at the start.
 
WORLD OF PAIN – Blundered on jumping and shifted in tightening a runner to its inside. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
BEAUDRAGON – When asked to explain its performance rider R. McMahon stated the gelding travelled well in the early stages but when crossed by another runner near the 600m it dropped the bit and lost ground however when placed under pressure in the home straight finished the race off fairly. His comments were noted.   
 
RACE 5: CNW CLASS 3 PLATE – 1200M
 
TWO OF A KIND – Slow to begin.
 
VALPONS – Slow to begin.
 
FIVE SPICES – Raced wide for the majority of the race. Rider T. Gillett was cautioned in regards to the use of his whip prior to the 100m.
 
CARRY THE GOLD – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
