Stewards inquired into the reasons MAGIC TOWN (D Ballard) appeared to restrain passing the 600m. After taking evidence from the riders involved and reviewing the patrol footage it was determined that approaching the 600m MANDALONG PASS (M Gray) was racing in restricted room to the inside of NO CRYSTAL BALL (R Payne) which subsequently shifted out to relieve this pressure. Which, resulted in FRAMEWORK (T Brummell) being taken out across the running of MAGIC TOWN which had to be restrained and shifted out, momentarily hampering IN TWO MINDS (T Hill). Stewards were satisfied that no rider was at fault and reported the occurrence as a racing incident. None the less, all riders were advised to exercise greater care in similar circumstances.
