Race 1. CAVA GROUP RATINGS BAND 0 - 60 Handicap 1450m
 
FIRE RANGER – Slowly away and raced wide throughout.
 
CAPTAIN’S PICK – Raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
DIXIE ROUGE – Raced wide rounding the home turn. 

Race 2. CAVA HYDRAULICS OPEN PLATE 1450m
 
MASKING – Slowly away after beginning awkwardly. Trailed the field throughout. Post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Trainer S Royes advised a warning would be placed on the gelding’s barrier manners.
 
LOUD ENOUGH - Raced wide for the majority.
 
Race 3. CAVA SCAFFOLDING GROUP QTIS BENCHMARK 50 Handicap 900m
 
SUGAR RAY RED – Slowly away and raced wide throughout.
 
AUNTY SNOW - Raced wide throughout.
 
Race 4. CAVA SCAFFOLDING GROUP QTIS BENCHMARK 50 Handicap 900m
 
ALOTAFOX – Shifted inwards on jumping and bumped with another runner. 
 
BRAVE JEWEL – Bumped by another runner on jumping. Raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
KILKENNY LAD – Slowly away. Finished tailed off. Trainer T Parry advised that in her opinion the gelding which had gone up in class after winning the previous week at Cloncurry had not backed up. Post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal and abnormalities.
 
ISA PRINCESS – Rider T Brummell advised the mare had been reluctant to stretch out in the middle stages due to the kickback in running. 
 
Race 5. CAVA LABOUR HIRE BENCHMARK 65 Handicap 1000m
 
NIGHT ATTIRE (NZ) - Slowly into stride and raced wide rounding 600m turn.
 
HOLOGRAM – Raced wide rounding 600m turn.
 
READY ZAIM FIRE - Raced wide rounding 600m turn.
 
CLATEAU - Shifted out under pressure on straightening bumping with another runner. 
 
WORLD OF PAIN - Soon after straightening was bumped by another runner which shifted out under pressure.     
 
Race 6. CAVA UP Class 2 Handicap 1200m
 
CHRISTMAS CREEK – Began awkwardly. 
 
SYD’S COIN – Raced wide rounding 600m turn. 
 
SUCH A DRAMA QUEEN - Raced wide rounding 600m turn.
 
UNDER RESTRAINT - Raced wide rounding 600m turn.
 
CAITLIN EMILY – Finished tailed off. Post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

Race 7. CAVA AUTO ELECTRICAL CLASS 6 PLATE 1200m
 
LEVEL EIGHT – Withdrawn prior to official scratching time on veterinary advice. Trainer S. Royes was advised a veterinary clearance would be required prior to the gelding’s next race start.
 
ANSINNA – Over-raced in the middle stages. 
 
BOWIE ROCKS – The gelding which was resuming following a lengthy absence from racing underwent a pre- race veterinary examination and was passed fit to start. Was eased out of the race soon after straightening when rider D Ballard became concerned with the gelding’s galloping action. Trainer D Ballard who undertook to advise Stewards should anything which may have affected today’s performance come to light in coming days was advised a further veterinary clearance would be required prior to next race start.
