Correct weight was delayed allowing the rider of the 2nd placed horse FLAWLESS AMBITION, Jockey D Boutet to view the photo finish of the event. When Jockey D. Boutet and Stewards were similarly satisfied, correct weight was given on the judges’ semaphored numbers.

Laid in under pressure passing the 180m and was steadied from the heels of ABSALON TULIP. Trainer Mr Hess stated that he felt the gelding may have got his tongue over the bit and indicated that he would consider a change of gear before GOLD STARS races again.
