Race 1: WELLCAMP FABRICATIONS MAIDEN PLATE – 800M
 
LETITRIPPOTATOCHIP – Slow to begin.
 
NORTHERN CRUSADER – Stood flat-footed and lost considerable ground. Trainer R Mackay was advised to obtain a further barrier certificate for the gelding prior to next start.
 
FIRST BID – Was found to be suffering a case of Thumps post race.

ENTERPRISE CUPID – Hung out during the middle stages.
 
Race 2: BECHLYS TRANSPORT H’CAP – 800M
 
COALBANK CAVIAR – Slow to begin. Hung in throughout.
 
PAST DARK – Broke through the barriers prior to the start, was quickly restrained and inspected before taking its place in the field. Slow to begin.
 
STORM ANCHER – Steadied to avoid heels near the 450m.

Race 3: NANANGO BOOKMAKERS ASSOCIATION BENCHMARK 50  H’CAP – 1200M
 
CANID – Slow to begin.
 
HARIIR – Wide without cover.
 
CEDEE PRINCE – Wide throughout.
 
JEWEL DU ROUGE – Weakened from the 600m before tailing off and as a result underwent a veterinary examination, which found the horse to be locking up in the near hind stifle. Connections were advised that they would be required to provide a veterinary clearance prior to next start.
 
EARLSTOUN RULER – Hampered by a weakening runner near the 300m.
 
MAGIC STREET – Lost the off fore plate in running.
 
Race 4: HERITAGE NANANGO OPEN H’CAP – 1200M
 
MAN OVERBOARD – Rider reported that the gelding failed to handle the soft track conditions.
 
FORT MYER – Raced wide throughout.
 
Race 5: KEN MILLS TOYOTA BENCHMARK 60 H’CAP – 1570M
 
After arriving on course stewards inspected the 1600m chute and found that due to rain received in the days leading to the race day, that it was unsuitable for racing and as a result, acting under the provisions of AR 8 (q)(ii), shortened the event to 1570m.
 
SIR EARLSTOUN – Slow to begin.
 
MARLAHN – Rider dropped her whip near the 100m.
