Race 1: NATIONAL JOCKEYS CELEBRATION/ J.A LEE MEMORIAL BENCHMARK 50 Handicap 1000 metres

SPECIAL CASE – Raced wide throughout.

MISSILE MAGIC – Jumped awkwardly. Raced wide throughout. Inclined to roll in over the concluding stages of the race.

HAUNTED HOUSE – Underwent post veterinary examination which revealed lacerations to the nearside fetlock.

SWIFT MISS FOX – Slow to begin. Resented the kickback in the early stages. Raced wide from the 600m to the winning post.

DANCING TALES – Crowded for room at the start.

SAY GOODBYE – Tightened for room approaching the 600m.

Race 2: COL RYAN MEMORIAL QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1200 metres

BARTA LINES – Resented the kickback in the early stages. Improved on to heels approaching the home turn.

CORSUCAN – Raced wide throughout.

HUSH PUPPY – Stood flat footed and jumped awkwardly. A warning was placed on HUSH PUPPY. Slow into stride.

JUMPIMG BEANS – Raced wide throughout.

Race 3: FITZROY HOTEL QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1200 metres

HE DID IT – Resented the kickback throughout the race. Trainer K Afford advised stewards he was going to assess HE DID IT’s future before starting again.

MUSSEL LINES – Jockey B Newport reported the horse raced flat. Trainer M Bailey advised he would monitor MUSSEL LINES and report to stewards of any findings before the gelding’s next start.

BARNSBURY – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and found to be lame in the nearside hind. Requires a veterinary certificate before starting again. Was declared a late scratching at 1.05pm deductions were 17 cents win and 15 cents place.

MAHIGRANT – Slow to begin. Jockey N Fazackerley reported the horse never travelled comfortable in the going throughout the race.

Race 4: STAR MOTEL NANANGO BENCHMARK 65 Handicap 1200 metres

ASK AUDREY – Shifted out entering the home straight.

DIGGITY – Jumped awkwardly.

MIRALIE – Raced three (3) wide till the 500m.

WALSHIE – Inconvenienced at the start when DIGGITY and SHE’S CROWNED both jumped awkwardly.

OAKFIELD COMANCHE – Broke through the starting gates. Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and passed to take its place in the race. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to be in lame in its near fore. Requires a veterinary certificate before starting again.

SHE’S CROWNED – Jumped awkwardly.

Race 5: F.T.A ACCOUNTANTS BENCHMARK 45 Handicap 1200 metres

WE ALL AGREE – Raced three (3) wide till the 600m.

ZORRO’S GHOST – Was steadied off heels off SOLID ASSET approaching the 800m.

RED MONKEY – Jumped awkwardly. Shifted out when placed under pressure in the home straight.

JONDY ROCKET – Raced wide till the 600m.

SOLID ASSET – Inclined to roll in approaching the 800m crowding ZORRO’S GHOST.

ASTROPHYSICS – Jockey K Yoshida reported ASTROPHYSICS resented the kickback and never travelled throughout the race.

Race 6: NANANGO TAXI & LIMOUSINE SERVICE BENCHMARK 45 Handicap 1200 metres

MR MAHARAJ – Raced wide throughout. Hung in the home straight. Lost nearside front shoe during the race.

BOOM ROCKER – Jockey Ms A Donald reported that BOOM ROCKER never felt comfortable on the heavy (8) track.

SHINAR – Jockey B Newport lost his whip approaching the 200m.

Race 7: FITZROY HOTEL CHEERS BUNDY RUM NANANGO CUP OPEN Handicap 1600 metres

MUWARRAD – Raced wide from the 400m.

MODERN FAMILY – Jumped awkwardly. Jockey Ms S Stephan reported that MODERN FAMILY never felt comfortable on the heavy (8) track.

THE KNIGHT – Jockey B Newport reported THE KNIGHT was hit by a clod in the early stages and never travelled comfortable in the race after.

Race 8: HERITAGE BANK NANANGO CLASS B Handicap 1600 metres

DINNY’S A SUSPECT – Improved on to heels approaching the 800m.

QUARTER PAST – Became fractious in the mounting yard dislodging jockey L Miller. Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and passed to take its place in the race. Raced wide throughout.

CRAIGLEA CLIO – Never travelled in the early stages of the race.
