RACE 1: MIRAGE LAND & WATER BENCHMARK 55 H’CAP 800M-
 
TOCCO D’ORO- Declared a late scratching by order of Stewards acting on Veterinary advice at 1:24pm after the gelding took charge of its rider during the preliminary and galloped a circuit of the course before being able to be restrained by its rider. Upon the declaration of correct weight, Stewards ordered that all monies invested on TOCCO D’ORO be refunded with the following deductions to apply.
1st- 23cents the win, 23 cents the place
2nd-23 cents the place.
 
PLAYBOOK- Bumped heavily shortly after the start.
 
 
 
 
RACE 2: ELDERS QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1000M-
 
Stewards permitted N Morton to ride WE CALL HER LOLA 1.5kg overweight when no other rider was available.
 
FANTASTIC HALO- Hung out badly throughout the event. Trainer B Dixon was advised a warning would be issued against the mare. Is assessing the matter Stewards were mindful that this venue races in the anti-clockwise direction.
 
RACE 3: GRIMWADE & GORDON CLASS B HCAP 1200 M
 
Stewards permitted D Graham to ride MUDCRAB 1.5kg overweight when no other rider was available.
 
GOOLBURRA GUY- Held up in the early stages of the home straight for some distance and was unable to improve.
 
RACE 4: WATERS, HENRY & DAVEY NOORAMA CUP OPEN HCAP 1200M
 
STILL THE SAME- Declared a late scratching at 3:00pm due to no rider being available.
 
LINKED- Bumped on jumping.
 
GENDEBIEN- Hung out throughout.
 
FEAR FACTOR- Slow to begin.
 
RACE 5: WESTERN MEAT EXPORTERS BENCHAMRK 55 HCAP 1400M
IF BY CHANCE- Knuckled badly on jumping, almost fell and as a result lost ground. Rider lost the use of reins over the concluding stages and a result shifted wider on the track and went to the line without being properly tested.
 
SHE’S TIDY- Checked at the start when tightened for room.
