Race 1: SWEETER SOILS/BEC FEED/CAMILLERI EARTHMOVING/MACKEY
WALES/STOCKLICK TRADING THE BASALT MAIDEN PLATE – 1000 Metres.
 
STILLWATER – Slow to begin and shifted in bumping with KNOCK'EM DEAD KID soon after the start.
 
KNOCK'EM DEAD KID– Slow to begin and shifted out bumping with STILLWATER soon after the start.
 
SIMPLE WAY – Jockey L. Morrison dismounted on pulling up when she felt the gelding was stepping short. A post-race veterinary examination revealed SIMPLE WAY to have injured its near front fetlock. Trainer T. McGovern was advised he must obtain a veterinary clearance for the gelding prior to it trialling or racing again.

TOHUKU – Began awkwardly. Raced three wide without cover for the majority off the race.
 
RACE 2: GF RURAL/ZOETIS/PARADISE OUTDOOR ADVERTISING NIMMO PLATE CLASS 3 PLATE – 1000
METRES.
 
MONTREUX – Delayed the start when springing its near front plate prior to entering the parade yard requiring farrier attention.
 
DYSTOPIAN – Fractious in the barriers prior to the start.
 
SHEEZALITTLETORQUE – Slow into stride.
 
IAMRUSTYPARKER – Improved onto heels approaching the 800 metres having to be restrained and shift wider and raced wide from that point onwards.   
 
GUAPO – Raced wide in the early and middle stages.
 
THEGIRLSGOTTHIS – Raced wide in the early and middle stages.

Race 3: MURPHY MEMORIAL VICE PRESIDENTS' PLATE BENCHMARK 45 HANDICAP – 1200 Metres.
 
QUEENSLANDER – Slow into stride.
 
PHILADELPHIA FREE – Forced wider rounding the 1000 metre turn becoming momentarily unbalanced.
 
GOOD KITTY – Made the 1000 metre turn awkwardly and shifted out forcing PHILADELPHIA FREE wider also making the turn awkwardly.

VEE EIGHT POWER – Commenced to lay in in leaving the 300 metres before being corrected near the 200 metres then continued to lay in under pressure over the concluding stages.  

ALEXANDRA MARGARET – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
SHEZAPEARLER – Correct weight was delayed allowing jockey M. Abe to view the photo finish for 1st placing. After viewing the photo finish print jockey Abe was satisfied and correct weight was declared on the judge’s semaphored numbers.
 
Race 4 TUFF N UP LADIES BRACELET OPEN HANDICAP – 1200 Metres.
 
GREENHEART – Was declared a late scratching at 10.30am due to no rider being available.
 
THATFEELSBETTER– Due to no other rider being available and a request from trainer J. Manzellaman,
jockey N. Day was permitted to ride the gelding 1.5kg over its allocated weight. Slow into stride.
 
LOUD NOISE– Due to no other rider being available and a request from trainer T. Rowe, jockey P. Romeo was
permitted to ride the gelding 0.5kg over its allocated weight. Raced wide for the majority of the race.

PRIMAL SCREAM – Slow into stride.
 
STRATEGIST – Made the 1000 metre turn awkwardly. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
GDANSK – Contacted the inside running rail on it’s own accord near the 800 metres and lost ground.  
 
TEMPO (NZ)– Raced wide for the majority of the race.

Race 5: COLLINS FAMILY/TOPX LONGREACH FULFORD PLATE QTIS BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP –
1400 Metres.
 
RED LANTERN – Was declared a late scratching at 10.30am due to technical issues when the mare was dually accepted and competed in Race 3 on today’s program.
 
EXCITE CHOO – Slow into stride.
 
SIZZLING SAMURAI – Slow into stride.
 
RIVALON – Slow into stride. Raced wide in the middle stages.
 
HOW AWESOME – Raced in restricted room for a short distance near the 800 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a laceration to its upper lip.

LORD POWER – Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
WISHNOWSKY – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
