STEWARDS PRESENT: K.M. Braunberger, J. Hill (Veterinarian) and officials of the Club

RACE 1: KING & DOWLING RURAL CLASS 2 – 1200 Metres - 5 Starters
TUMBLE WEED was allocated 1KG penalty.

No incident in running.

RACE 2: INLAND BRAHMAN STUD MAIDEN – 1000 Metres – 3 Starters
The start of the race was delayed approximately 10 minutes to allow a aircraft to land on the front straight.

DUSTY ROMAN was very slow to start.

RACE 3: RICE FAMILY – LADIES BRACELET – OPEN – 1600 Metres – 6 Starters.
HUYA BAY was allocated 1KG penalty.

NATIVE BARON was scratched at the barrier due to the horse failing to take its position at the start.

RACE 4: BARR FAMILY CLASS 4 – 800 Metres – 4 Starters
No racing incidents.

RACE 5: FRANK KEENAN MEMORIAL TOPEX OPEN HANDICAP – 1000 Metres – 6 Starters
ZEBHELA was allocated 1KG penalty.

No racing incidents.

RACE 6: TANKS DIRECT OPEN – 1200 Metres – 6 Starters
OUT ON was allocated a 1KG penalty.

No racing incidents.

RACE 7: SUNCORP TOWNSVILLE – CLASS 3 - 1000 METRES – 6 Starters
GOODBYE CHIEF was allocated a 1KG penalty.

A PROMISE tired in the front straight dropping back through the field to finish a distant last.
