GENERAL:

This meeting was conducted under the conditions of the Queensland Community Racing Scheme (QCRS). No Bookmakers or Photo Finish operated at this meeting. All starts were by means of a flag fall All riders who competed were licensed Approved Riders. All prizes were in the form of trophies only.

Race 1: HALLS FIREARMS MAIDEN PLATE (Set Weights) 800 Metres
1st - TORPEDO RUN 2nd - DRIVESHAFT 3rd - PROWSEY 4th - BURGOMASTER

No incidents in running.

Race 2: TOPX RICHMOND RESTRICTED TROPHY 2 (Set Weights) 1200 Metres
1st - SPEEDY BOB 2nd - IDAHO’S GIRL 3rd - CALL ME GUNYA 4th - FRAACAS

LEO’S MEMORY (Ms A. Williams) was slow away and raced wide rounding the home turn.

CALL ME GUNYA (Ms A. Macintosh) raced wide rounding the home turn.

Race 3: SUNCORP RICHMOND OPEN TROPHY (Set Weights) 1200 Metres

1st - YAMADO 2nd - MISTER BRUMBY 3rd - LADY FLICK 4th - FRAAREVA

ENCORE & ROSES (Ms A. Macintosh) was slow to begin.

FRAAREVA (J. Connolly) was slow away.

MISTER MALCOLM (M. Harris) raced wide rounding the 800 metre turn.

Race 4: BIG HAMMER BUILDING CENTRE RESTRICTED THROPHY 6 (Set Weights) 1000 Metres
1st - ALMAVALE 2nd DANCE FOR BINDY 3rd ABAGNALE 4th NGAN DA BAA

Race 5: RISING SUN HONDA OPEN TROPHY (Set Weights) 1000 Metres
1st - SEANOFEAR 2nd - WELL EQUIPPED 3rd - FIERY SEAS. 4th - CYCLONE GEORGE

KALINGA TASH (J. Dagan) was slow away.

WELL EQUIPPED (D. Bannister) was slow into stride.

FUEL & WATER (M. Harris) travelled wide round the 600 area.

Race 6: WILSON RYAN & GROSE 2011 KOOROORINYA CUP OPEN TROPHY (Set Weights) 1600 Metres
1st - SAND CAY 2nd - PIKESTAFF 3rd - BABY TOD 4th - KALINGA TOWN

A post race veterinary examination of KALINGA TOWN revealed the mare to have sustained a suspensory ligament strain to the off fore leg. Trainer Mr. C. TINDALL will be advised a veterinary certificate of fitness will be required before KALINGA TOWN can again start.
Race 7: COATS TO COAST – THE GOLDEN ROAST . RESTRICTED TROPHY 4 (Set Weights) 800 Metres
1st - TOTARA LASS 2nd - DAN’S LUCK 3rd - KALINGA EMA 4th - JUST ROCKY.

MICHIGAN (Ms A. Williams) and DIATONIC (Ms A. Macintosh) were both slow into stride.
