GENERAL.

This meeting was conducted under the conditions of the Queensland Community Racing Scheme (QCRS). No Photo Finish or Bookmakers operated at this meeting. All starts were by means of a flag fall. All riders who rode were l
Licensed Approved Riders. All prizes were in the form of trophies only.

Race 1: COLEMAN STOCK FEEDS MAIDEN PLATE. (Set Weights). 800 Metres).
( 5 Starters).
1st - STROMGLAD 2nd - JAZMINE 3rd - SMITHIES MILLIONS 4th - CHASEON.

No racing incidents.

Race 2: RAY WHITE LIVERSTOCK LONGREACH RESTRICTED TROPHY 2. (Set Weights). 800 Metres.
( 7 Starters).
1st - TORPEDO RUN 2nd - JUST ROCKY - 3rd LITTLE FEATHER - 4th - DRIVESHAFT (NZ).

As the flag start was effected, HAPPY HOOLIGAN ((T. Delahunty), jumped inwards and across TEE DEE EIGHT (B. Sheard) which caused that runner some inconvenience. Both HAPPY HOOLIGAN and TEE DEE EIGHT then raced wide all the way.

Race 3: RINGROSE & BUTTON CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS RESTRICTED TROPHY 4. (Set Weights). 1000 Metres. ( DIVISION ONE) . ( 6 Starters).
1st - MEDFIUM ‘N’ RARE 2nd - LA TOMATINA 3rd - SPEEDY BOB 4th - YAMADO

This race was divided into two divisions owing to the fact that the number of acceptors exceeded the maximum number of starters permitted in the race and further because of insufficient number of riders. Division two of this Race was run as Race Eight.

LA TOMATINA (T. Delahunty) and MEDIUM ‘N’RARED (K. Connolly) both raced wide rounding the home turn.



Race 4: HERROD TODD & WHITE BANGLE OPEN TROPHY. (Set Weights). 800 Metres.
( 6 Starters).

CANNY SHUFFLE (B. Sheard) and BURRA BLU (D. Owens)) each raced wide rounding the home turn.


Race 5: BETTY RICE MEMORIAL BRACELET OPEN TROPHY (Set Weights). 1400 Metres.
( 7 Starters).
1st - VONMARCNDUNC 2nd - YAMADO 3rd - TEXAS FLOOD 4th - FRAAREVA

A Veterinary Certificate under the terms of AR 45B, (Horses aged 12 years and over), was provided in respect of YAMADO and FRAAREVA allowing those horses to start in the race.

SOLYMAR (M. Delahunty) raced wide most of the way.

Race 6: GRIFFITHS PHARMACY & TOWERS CUSTOM CABINETS OPEN TROPHY. (Set Weights). 1000 Metres. ( 5 Starters).
1st - MORE THAN REGAL 2nd - PALOLO DEEP 3rd - CYCLONE GEORGE 4th - ZEDMATIC

ZEDMATIC (A. McIntosh) was slow into stride at the start and raced wide rounding the home turn.


Race 7: FROSTY HORSE SHOEING RESTRICTED TROPHY 6 (Set Weights). 800 Metres.
( 5 Starters).
1st - FRAARADALA 2nd - FRAARCAS 3rd - CHICKEN DINNER 4th - MISS CHANCESZAAR.

CHICKEN DINNER (J. Dagan) was fractious on going out onto the track

GALAXY GOLD (B. Sheard) was slow into stride at the start.

GALAXY GOLD and MISS CHANCESXAAR both raced wide rounding the home turn.


Race 8: RINGROSE & BUTTON CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS RESTRICTED TROPHY 4. (Set Weights). 1000 Metres. ( DIVISION ONE) . ( 6 Starters). (DIVISIOIN 2 OF RACE 3.).
1st - WESTERN RUN 2nd - REQUEST THIS 3rd - OCTA DUCK 4th - MISTER BRUMBY

This race was divided into two divisions owing to the fact that the number of acceptors exceeded the maximum number of starters permitted in the race and further because of insufficient number of riders. Division One of this Race was run as Race Three.
