GENERAL: This meeting was conducted under the conditions of the Queensland Community Racing Scheme (QCRS).  No Photo Finish or Bookmakers  operated at this meeting. All starts were by means of a flag fall.   All riders who rode were Licensed Approved Riders.  All prizes were in the form of trophies only.
 
Race 1: COLEMAN STOCK FEEDS MAIDEN PLATE.  (Set Weights).  800 Metres). (4  Starters)
1st  BARENYA   2nd  SONDRINGHAM   3rd  CRAIGLEA VITO     4th  AMBER TOP
BARENYA – Veterinary certificate of fitness to race provided.
 
CRAIGLEA VITO – Very fractious at start.  Trainer advised a warning will be placed on the gelding.
 
AMBER TOPS – Near 400 restrained when tightened for room between SONDRINGHAM (A. MacIntosh) and CRAIGLEA VITO.  Jockey MacIntosh advised to exercise more care. 
 
 
Race 2:  BRODIES   RESTRICTED TROPHY 2.  (Set Weights).   800 Metres.).(8  Starters)
1st        EKTASTIC  2nd  ASHLEN   3rd  CRAIGLEA TORQUE   4th  BAUHINIA DROUGHT
 
SCRUB TICK – Underwent Veterinary examination prerace and passed fit to race.
 
CRAIGLEA TORQUE - Underwent Veterinary examination prerace and passed fit to race. 
 
BAUHINIA DROUGHT – Raced wide throughout.
 
DRAGWAY – Raced ungenerously in early and middle stages and had to be restrained off heels at home turn when inclined to hang out. 
 
EKTASTIC -  Passed a barrier jump out allowing a start in this race.  Raced wide in  early and middle stages. 
 
ESCOVADO -  Slow to begin.
 
Race 3:  GRIFFITHS PHARMACY  RESTRICTED TROPHY 4.  DIVISION 1.  (Set Weights).  1000 Metres.

1st –DIFFERENT SHADE  2nd -GOT THE RHYTHM 3rd -CEDAR ROAD 4th- PERFECT HOLIDAY
 
CEDAR ROAD – Underwent Veterinary examination prerace and passed fit to race.
 
HAYYLER;S ELEMENT -  Bucked shortly after start and retired from race.  Post race veterinary examination revealed a minor laceration to the mouth, no further action required.  Trainer advised mare is to trial prior to starting again.   
 
Race 4:  PRAIRIE SERVICES OAKLEY AMATEUR PICNIC RACE CLUB LADIES BANGLE OPEN TROPHY. (Set Weights).  800 Metres.  (6  Starters)
1st – TOP ROYAL (NZ)      2nd -  ISABELLA ESTHER   3rd - SAVAGE HEMLINE  4th  -  MERIBEL MAGIC
 
SURF FIRE -  Failed to commence with the remainder of the field and took no part in the race.  Trainer advised a warning is to be placed on the mare. 
 
TOP ROYAL (NZ) - Slow to go after throwing head in air a number of times in the score up.
 
ARLIS – Slow to begin, 5 lengths.  Rider reported gelding resented the kickback.   
 

Race 5:  BETTY RICE MEMORIAL OAKLEY AMATEUR PICNIC RACE CLUB LADIES  BRACELET  OPEN TROPHY (Set Weights).  1400 Metres.). (8  Starters)
1st – BALLARD BOY   2nd – ROMAN PLEASURE   3rd -  HOFFENHORRY   4th  -  LAKI LAKI
 
NEPTUNE EXPRESS reared as the start was effected and lost ground.
 
ONEMORENOBLEDANCER – At 1200 metres restrained off the heels of HOFFENHORRYwhen tightened for room between LAKI  LAKI and ILLUSIVE GAIL. 
 
HOFFENHORRY – (R. Williams).  At 250 metres  shifted out resulting in HAYYLER’S RED steading.  Rider Williams was advised to exercise more care.

 
Race 6:  HERON TODD WHITE  OPEN TROPHY. (Set Weights).  1000 Metres. (6  Starters)
1st  - LITTLE FEATHER   2nd -  BLETCHY BOY   3rd  - REVEL IN THE CHAOS    4thGUINIGI PRINCE
 
TERMS OF TRADE – Late scratching at 2.45pm by order of Stewards acting on veterinary advice.  Injury to off hind knee.  Trainer advised veterinary certificate of fitness required prior to starting again.
 
BLETCHY BOY – Slow to go 2 lengths. 
 
GUINIGI PRINCE raced wide in the early and middle stages.
 
REVEL IN THE CHAOS – Rider D. Bannister advised to be aware of the use of his whip.   


Race 7:  JOHN ATHERTON MEMORIAL TROPHY 6  (Set Weights). 1000 Metres.  (7  Starters). 
1st – TASH’ WILL  2nd  - DUTCH COURAGE  3rd - MONTIRO  4th  - BAYSIDE BANDIT  
 
LEICAZUPA – Late scratching when established to be ineligible for this race.  Explanation from Trainer accepted. 
 
BAYSIDE BANDIT  - Slow to go 2 lengths.

DUTCH COURAGE – Raced wide in the early and middle stages. 
 
MONTIRO - Raced wide in the early and middle stages.

TOM’S BLING -  Lost considerable ground at the start.
 
DRAGON TOP -  Took step backwards as start was effected and attempted to rear losing ground.   
 
BON DANCER -  Raced wide rounding the home turn.

1st –CHESNEY  2nd -INSPEPCTOR REX 3rd -THE ALAMO  4th- ONE UP
