Race 1: RINGROSE & BUTTON / HUGHENDEN HOTELS QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1000 Metres     

THE APPOINTED TIME – Fractious in mounting yard and on entering onto the track.  Trainer K. Krogh advised a warning is being placed on the mare re its pre-race behaviour.
 
OUR YOUNG MAN – Jumped awkwardly and shifted out making contact with another runner.

TOUGHY ROCKET – Bumped by another runner on jumping and then raced wide throughout.
 
BOSSUKA – Raced wide all the way.  
 
WHOBETHATNOW – Laid in down the running.   
 

Race 2:  WINDLAB / NORTHERN RURAL GROUP BENCHMARK 45 HANDICAP 1000  Metres     
 
TINY TIARA – Late scratching at 12.40pm by order of Stewards in relation to the production of a veterinary clearance to race imposed at Corfield on 30th July, 2022. Certificate required prior to next start.
 
ROCKETHEAD - Jumped awkwardly and was bumped by another runner. Raced wide in early and middle stages.   

ONE MORE FIELD – Bumped by another runner on jumping. Raced wide for the majority.
 
REDZEB – Slow to begin. Raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
GINGER MULE – Raced wide rounding the home turn. 
 
MADAM JANE – After beginning well commenced to lose ground passing the 500 metres and finished tailed off. Rider  advised that once the mare, which was having first start on a dirt track, was crossed by other runners it commenced losing ground which he believed was the result of resenting the kickback in running.
 
Race 3:  GJ WEBBER AUTO BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP 1200 Metres.     
 
ALL STAR ROCKET – Jumped awkwardly and outwards tightening another runner for room. 
 
JAKAZONE – Tightened for room soon after start as result of another runner shifting outwards on jumping.  Raced wide rounding the home turn. Laid in down the running. 
 
JUDY MY BABY - Tightened for room soon after the start as result of another runner shifting outwards on jumping. 
 
CADENCE – Raced wide in the back straight.
 
GAIUS JULIUS -  Raced wide for the majority.
 
FA FA – Slow to begin and tailed field all the way. Rider advised gelding did not appreciate the dirt track conditions. 
 
Race 4:  ADDEX GROUP BENCHMARK 45 HANDICAP 1400 Metres
 
STRATOBEL – Jumped outwards bumping with another runner.   
 
PROMPT REPLY – Bumped by another runner on jumping. Near the 1100 metres was tightened for room  by another runner which had shifted inwards. Raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
BLAX - Near the 1100 metres shifted inwards when racing wide and momentarily tightened another runner for racing room. Rider N. Nelson advised to exercise more care in future.
 
MERGE - Raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
VOLCANIC – Post-race veterinary examination following below market expectations performance failed to reveal any irregularities.
 
Race 5:  COL COLEMAN MEMORIAL PRAIRIE CUP BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP 1400 Metres
 
KEEP ON LOVING YOU – From an outside barrier was restrained soon after the start and crossed to the inside rail. Raced wide rounding the home turn. 
 
CHAMBERLAIN – Raced wide most of the way.
