SUPPLIMENTARY REPORT- 
Due to a shortage of riders available at the Jockey declaration deadline, Stewards permitted a number of late riding engagements.
 
RACE 1: QUILPIE SHIRE COUNCIL/BRANDON & ASSOCIATES MAIDEN PLATE 1000 M
ZOOMESDAY- Jockey P Hamblin was permitted to ride .5kg overweight.
DENMAN DUDE- Barrier slightly slow to open. Raced wide throughout.
FLORIDA ROAD- Began awkwardly. Raced wide throughout.
 
RACE 2: MEADS FAMILY MEMORIAL/ BROWN HURLEY CLASS B HCP 1100M
BABY JAM- Slow to begin.
 
 
RACE 3: HOLLINGS CONSTRUCTION NEWMARKET OPEN H’CAP 1100 M
No racing incidents.
RACE 4: BILL & KJ COSTELLO MEMORIAL BENCHMARK 60 H’CAP 1200 M
ATEACES- Declared a non-runner due the barrier being slow to open resulting in the horse losing considerable ground. Upon the declaration of Correct Weight stewards ordered that all monies invested on ATEACES be refunded in the following deductions to apply-
1st- 20 cents the win, 20cents the place
2nd- 23 cents the place
BOB MARK’S BOY- Steadied when tightened for room near the 600m.

RACE 5: MACK TRUCKS QUILPIE OPEN HANDICAP 1350 M
Prior to the runner of this race Stewards ordered that the barriers be tested.
NUDE SECRETS- When questioned in relation to the disappointing performance, Apprentice J Brand advised that the gelding was fractious in the barriers and knuckled over on jumping away however could offer no other explanation for the poor performance. A post-race Veterinary Inspection revealed the gelding to be lame. Stewards will advise Trainer E Jonson that a Veterinary Clearance will be  required for the gelding prior to next start.
 
RACE 6: MICHAEL PAULSEN MEMORIAL QTIS BENCHMARK 50 H’CAP 1350 M
LITTLE JATZ- Declared a late scratching at 4:15pm by order of Stewards acting on Veterinary advice. Upon the declaration of correct weight Stewards ordered that all monies invested on LITTLE JATZ be refunded with the following deductions to apply-
1st- 11cents the win, 14 cents the place
2nd-15cents the place.
 
No racing incidents.
