Race 1: MONTY O’SULLIVAN 42nd BT AIF MEMORIAL CLASS B HANDICAP 1000mAyla’s Angel – Slowly away after being fractious in the barrier.Bollente – Slowly into stride. Raced wide for the majority.Velvet Brown - Raced wide for the majority. Race 2: WJ & VM HARRINGTON & DAUGHTER ANNIE CORAL SEA MEMORIAL MAIDEN PLATE 1000mTinder Surprise – Slowly away.Fig – Slowly away. Inconvenienced soon after jumping by another runner which shifted in. Taken wider near the 900m and commenced to hang in from that point.Starkin - Began awkwardly. Raced wide for the majority. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the off hind leg. Trainer Ms. S Royes was advised a Veterinary clearance would be required prior to next race start.Pleated Miss – Shifted in soon after jumping inconveniencing another runner. Jockey R Hancock was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.Hina Matsuri – Hung out near the 700m racing wide from that point. Trainer Mr. K Krogh was advised a warning would be placed on the mare’s racing manners.Race 3: HUGHES EARTHMOVING RATINGS BAND 0-50 HANDICAP 1200mGoing Grey – Raced wide from the 600m.Moving Target - Raced wide for the majority.Dreamward Bound – Jockey J Hoopert reported the gelding had failed to let down despite his urgings over the concluding stages after traveling well in the run. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the near hind fetlock. Trainer Ms. S Royes was advised a Veterinary clearance would be required prior to next race start.Race 4: LT COL HARRY MURRAY VICTORIA CROSS CLASS 6 PLATE 1200mSnippy Strategic – Slowly away.Crystal Bear - A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.Race 5: RI MCCLYMONT MEMORIAL CLASS B HANDICAP 1400mBold Sam – Slowly into stride. Had to be restrained off heels when over-racing passing the 800m.Onemore For Wilson - Slowly into stride. Became unbalanced after contacting the running rail rounding the home turn.Blossom - Slowly into stride.Nicconi Pasquale – Jockey D Ballard reported the gelding raced ungenerously throughout placing him at a disadvantage.
