Race 1. RISING SUN HONDA BENCHMARK 60 Handicap (1000m )
TIME FOR PEACE – Began awkwardly
PRUSSIAN DREAM – Raced wide majority.
MORE THAN FORTUNE – Raced wide majority.
SCARPA – Raced wide early and middle stages.
SEVEN YEAR REWARD – Raced wide majority.
Race 2. COLEMAN STOCK FEEDS Maiden Plate (1200m)
THE APPOINTED TIME – Raced wide rounding home turn
MAHISARA LADY – Underwent a pre–race veterinary examination and was passed fit to start. Raced wide majority.
SANCHEZ – Rider J Baker reported the mare felt awkward in its action from the 600m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer M Lewis undertook to advise Stewards should anything which may have had a bearing on today’s performance become apparent in coming days.
VOLCANIC – Raced wide early stages.
Race 3. RABOBANK QTIS Class 1 Handicap (1200m)
MARVELOCITY – Stewards permitted jockey J Esser to ride the gelding 1.5kg overweight as no other rider was available. Slow to begin. Jockey Esser reported the gelding which was having his first start on  dirt track was reluctant stretch out in running due to the kickback. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities .
GIGASTAR – Shifted in on jumping inconveniencing a runner to its inside. Raced wide rounding home turn.
SPOTTED WONDER - Was inconvenienced  on jumping by another runner which shifted in.
RIVERSIDE BLUES – Raced wide majority.
TINY TIARA – Slow to begin. Raced wide majority
BUDDHA – Raced wide majority.
DEVIL’S NUMBER – Trainer Ms S Royes ,when questioned regarding the seemingly improved performance, stated that the gelding, which was having his 3rd run from a let up, had nowreached peak fitness, and had pleased her in its lead up to today’s event.
Race 4. CHARTERS TOWERS TOYOTA Class6 Plate (1200m)
LUCKY MACHU – Raced wide majority .
LORD GREYSTOKE – Began awkwardly .
BOLD SAM – Slow into stride  after beginning awkwardly .Raced wide rounding the home turn .
ROCKETHEAD – Raced wide rounding the home turn.
FA FA – Raced wide majority.
Race 5. HASTINGS DEERING BENCHMARK 65 Handicap (1400m)
GRAND SYMPHONY – Raced wide middle stages and home turn.
SNIPPY STRATEGIC – Raced wide majority .
MYOLA MILLY – Raced wide rounding home turn.
