GENERAL
Race 1 :MONTY O’SULLIVAN 43RD BT AIF MEMORIAL BENCHMARK 45 Handicap (1000m)
 Declaration of correct weight was delayed to allow apprentice jockey T Leslight ,rider of 2nd place getter METEORANO , to view the photo finish. After viewing the official photo apprentice Leslight was satisfied  and subsequently correct weight was declared on the judge’s  numbers.
TEXAS TARGET – As the mare had not started for a  period of time it underwent a pre – race veterinary examination and was cleared to start .
ROCKETHEAD – Slow into stride.
LIZ’S DELIGHT – Raced wide early stages.
NITRO CITY – Raced wide rounding home turn.
ARROGANT HEART – Raced wide middle stages.
Race 2 : WJ & VM HARRINGTON & DAUGHTER ANNIE CORAL SEA MEMORIAL OPEN  Handicap (1000m)
FOUR EXCEL – As the gelding had not started for a period  of time it underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to start . Became fractious enroute to the start dislodging  jockey J Felix who was uninjured .Was declared a late scratching at 2:13 pm by order of Stewards. All monies invested on the gelding were ordered to be refunded in full . Deductions applicable to bets placed on winner and place getter prior to 2:13 pm were as follows .
8 cents win – 11cents place.
Trainer Ms S Royes was advised the gelding would be required to trail satisfactorily under race day conditions prior to again being permitted to start in a race .
No further racing incidents.
Race 3: HUGHES EARTHMOVING  QTIS Class 3 Plate (1200m)
I’M CALLIN’ DIBS – Began awkwardly .Slow into stride.
RIVERSIDE BLUE – Raced wide rounding the home turn.
TIDAL FORCE – Raced wide majority.
SNEAKY TRUTHS – Raced wide majority.
Race 4 : LT COL HARRY MURRAY VICTORIA CROSS MEMORIAL Maiden Plate (1200m)
FALVELON SKY – Severely hampered when bumped by another runner  which shifted in on jumping .Raced wide majority.
SON DINGO – Began awkwardly , shifted in making heavy contact with a runner to its inside. Inclined to lay in majority of race.
LOONEY TUNES –  Raced wide majority.
Race 5 : RI MCCLYMONT MEMORIAL Class B Handicap (1400m)
ELUSIVE REWARD – Raced wide rounding home turn.
BLAX – Slow to begin. Bumped with another runner soon after jumping
ALL AT SEA – Slow to begin . Was bumped soon after jumping
YUFCALLEDCHARLIE – Raced wide majority.
PLATINUM DEAL – Raced wide rounding home turn.
VOLCANIC – Raced wide majority.
