On returning to scales, rider R .Wilson reported the gelding felt awkward in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. PLUCK N’ TANGO – Was declared a late scratching at 2.50pm after being fractious in the saddling enclosure dislodging rider R. Payne who was cleared of any injuries by QAS staff. Stewards ordered that all bets on PLUCK N’ TANGO be refunded with the following deductions to apply: 1st – 16c Win 18c Place2nd – 18c Place3rd – 18c Place Trainer S.Seymour was advised that the gelding would be required to parade and proceed to the start in a trial/jump out under race day condition prior to next racing.
