QUEENSLANDRACING INTEGRITY COMMISSION STEWARDS REPORT RICHMOMD RACE CLUB RICHMOND – SATURDAY 5th OCTOBER 2024 WEATHER – FINE TRACK RATING – DIRT RAIL – TRUE OFFICIALS Chairman of Stewards – P.WarrenStewards – J.McIntosh General: The following horses were declared a late scratching at 12pm due to no rider being available. Race 1. TORNADO TORQUE – ALL THAT BLING – MISS BOUCHARD – LET’S GO THEN. Race 4. LET’S GO THEN – FABULOUS HOFFA. Race 1: AMMONITE INN MOTEL BENCHMARK 45 Handicap 1000m: BURNT BUTTER – On arrival at the barriers took fright and dislodged rider K .Ballard and galloped back to the enclosure and was declared a late scratching at 1.25pm. Rider K Ballard was cleared of any injuries and fulfilled his remaining engagements. Upon the declaration of correct weight stewards ordered that all monies invested on BURNT BUTTER be refunded with the following deductions to apply. 1st GETTING’ LIPPY – 8cents win, 8cents place2nd NINE CARATS – 8cents place 3rd HI ZERO – 8 cents RUSTY ROSE – Raced wide majority. PRIVATE SECTOR – Began awkwardly losing ground at the start, Trainer S Royes was advised a warning would be placed on the gelding racing manners. Race2: FEDERAL PALACE HOTEL BENCHMARK 65 Handicap 1000m MOPAR – Resented kickback in the early stages of the race. SNEAKY TRUTHS – Late scratching on veterinary advice at 2:50 pm, Upon the declaration of correct weight stewards ordered that all invested on SNEAKY TRUTHS be refunded with the following deductions to apply, 1st GOSSIP TORQUE 6cents win – 8cents place2ND BITTERGREYMAGIC – 8 cents place Trainer T Parry was advised a veterinary clearance would be required prior to the gelding’s next race start. LA PETITE MISSILE – Began awkwardly. A post-race veterinary examination found the mare to be lame in the near side front hoof. Trainer T.Hall was advised a veterinary clearance would be required prior to the mares next race start. TRINITY MISSILE – Raced wide majority. CHASETON – Raced wide majority. Race 3: MACKENZIE EARTHMOVING MAIDEN PLATE 1200M WAGONGA – Knuckled on jumping MOGGIE – Raced wide rounding home turn. TOHUKU – Raced wide early. SUMMER SIZZLING – Raced wide majority. Race 4: MUD HUT MOTEL CLASS B Handicap 1200m ELECTRIC HASHMAL – Began awkwardly. Slow into stride MR SQUIGGLE’S MATE – Began awkwardly bumped THE EIGHTH I AM. DANGEREUSE – Raced wide majority. QUEENBEEL – Slow to begin. Raced wide majority.Race 5: SJ& SA RURAL CONTRACTING CLASS 3 PLATE 1400M Declaration of correct weight was delayed to allow Stewards to view the start of this race to ascertain whether PARISIAN LADY was afforded a fair start, after doing so and taking evidence from the Starter and Rider Ms S. Neilson PARISIAN LADY was declared a starter. PARISIAN LADY – Was fractious in the barriers prior to the start, as the start was affected jockey S.Nielsen was dislodged and the mare completed the circuit riderless, S Nielson was examined by the QAS officer who advised Stewards no medicial is required as she was found to have only brusing to the right foot, and was advised to imform Stewards should anything further developed. Trainer T .Parry was advised the mare must trial to the sadisfaction of Stewards prior to next race start. MALABAR PRINCE – Slow into stride,post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding had substained a serious injury to the off front Suspensory ligiment , Trainer K.Kroghadvised stewards it was his intention to retire the gelding, but was advised the gelding would require a veterinary clearacne prior to a trail or race start. KARAKAROO – Was hampered by the riderless horse on jumping, losing ground at start.
