SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT: Yeppoon 29th October 2016:
 
Trainer C. Garland was reminded of the provisions of A.R. 175qq in relates to social media posts.

Race 1: Maiden Handicap - 1400 metres
1st - PRINCE OF BARODA  2nd - CHILLI CON CARNE  3rd - GLADISHING  4th -  AMAZON RULER
 
LORD RUSSEL - Slow to begin. When questioned regarding the performance of the gelding Jockey N. Day stated that his mount was disappointing and he was at a loss to explain the performance. He said that the horse was under pressure in the early stages in an endeavour to take up a midfield position and when placed under pressure in the home straight failed to respond to his riding. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. Trainer J. McConachy agreed with the comments of Jockey Day and said that it was his intention that the horse be removed from his stables.
 
AMAZON RULER - Slow to begin. Rider reported that her mount was inclined to lay from near the 300 metres.
 
PRINCE OF BARODA - At approximately the 900 metres crossed CHILLI CON CARNE at which stage that gelding commenced to race keenly.
 
Race 2: Class 2 Handicap - 1400 metres  
1st - HYPER DRIVE  2nd - KING MAX  3rd - THE CATHOLIC GIRL  4th -  LUCIFER'S ANGEL
 
KING MAX - Slow to begin. At approximately the 600 metres was awkwardly placed on heels and had to be restrained.
 
THE CATHOLIC GIRL - Began awkwardly.
 
OUTBACK PIRATE - Jockey A. Butler reported that his mount failed to travel throughout, raced flat and may have come to the end of its preparation. Trainer T. Button advised stewards that, depending on the race programming, the horse may be freshened up and he would consider stepping it up in distance.
 
Following this race Jockey D. Simmons reported that he had sustained an injury to his left foot. He was examined by the Ambulance Officers and permitted cleared to fulfil his remaining engagements.
 
Race 3: Open Handicap - 1100 metres  
1st - WILDEBEAST 2nd - SAY I WON'T  3rd - COURT CLOWN 4th -  PRINCELY
 
MIDNIGHT CURFEW - Began awkwardly and lost some ground.
 
TERMS OF TRADE - At the 300 metres commenced to hang out, shifted ground over the concluding stages and as a result was difficult to ride out. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
 
PRINCELY- Taken in near the 300 metres and again near the 100 metres when another runner shifting ground.
 
Race 4: QTIS 3YO Maiden Handicap - 1050 metres
1st - OVERLOAD  2nd -   SIR TRUSTICE  3rd - NO FINER JET  4th -   EL GRADINO 
 
NEON MAGIC - After being placed in the barriers the gelding became fractious and attempted to get its head down.  The horse was examined by the Club's veterinary surgeon. Acting on her advice stewards ordered the late withdrawal of NEON MAGIC at 3.06 p.m. Subsequently they ordered that all bets made on the gelding be refunded and that the following deductions apply>
 
            5¢ in the dollar for the win for the winner, OVERLOAD
            4¢ in the dollar for the place for the winner, OVERLOAD
            8¢ in the dollar for the place for 2nd, SIR TRUSTICE
            7¢ in the dollar for the place for 3rd, NO FINER JET
 
Trainer G. Bell was advised that she must provide a barrier certificate prior to NEON MAGIC being permitted to race again.
 
EL GRADINO - Began awkwardly and when ridden hard in the early stages, raced ungenerously.
 
OVERLOAD - Made contact with another runner at the start.
 
ROCK ON SKYE - Contacted by another runner at the start.
 
ENGAGE THE DUKE - Slow to begin then hung out from the 700 metres.
 
MOUNTAIN RETREAT - Raced 3 wide without cover until near the 600 metres.
 
THE CHILD - Lost the near hind plate in running.
 
NO FINER JET - Near the 900 metres shifted out slightly.
 
AZIRAP – Near the 900 metres, when racing in restricted room, lost some ground. Near the 700 metres rolled in.
 
ROCK ON SKYE- Near the 900 metres, steadied from heels of another runner. Near the 700 metres, placed in restricted room and become awkward inside another runner.
 
Race 5: BenchMark 60 Handicap - 1050 metres   
1st - COURT LANE  2nd - LUCKY CLOVER  3rd - SUPREME JET  4th -  COVERT CHARMOUR
 
DIVA MISS - Was a late scratching, at 1.00 p.m., when it was found to have an injury to its off foreleg.
 
CAPTAIN ADRIATIC - Became fractious in the barriers. Stewards ordered the late scratching of the gelding at 3.41 p.m. Subsequently they ordered that all bets placed on the gelding be refunded and that the following deductions apply:
 
            3¢ in the dollar for the win for the winner, COURT LANE
            5¢ in the dollar for the place for the winner, COURT LANE
            3¢ in the dollar for the place for 2nd, LUCKY CLOVER
            6¢ in the dollar for the place for 3rd, SUPREME JET
 
Trainer J. Pointon was advised that a warning will be placed on the horse's barrier manners.
 
UNCANNY REASON - At the start jumped in onto another runner.
 
TROPICAL HEATWAVE - At the start bumped by another runner.
 
COURT LANE - Raced 3 wide until leaving the 700 metres.

Race 6: Racing Queensland Summer Provincial Series (Heat) BenchMark 70 Handicap - 1300 metres
1st -  HEARTBREAK HARRY  2nd STAR FURY  3rd -  RISE TO FAME  4th -  FRENCH HUSSLER
 
FINAL CHAPTER - Began awkwardly.
 
LEGAL PROCEDURE - Anticipated the start and when the start was effected began awkwardly.
 
COVENTRY - Raced 3 wide without cover throughout.
 
RIGHTONCUE - Trainer informed stewards that the gelding will be sent for a spell.
 
Race 7: Ratings Band 0-55 Handicap - 1200 metres
1st -  GAMBIT  2nd -  BLOODED  3rd - SUNRISE GLORY  4th -  SUPERIOR DRAGON
 
SAINTLY PRO - Began awkwardly.
 
SUPERIOR DRAGON - Began awkwardly.
 
MT ZIGGARO - Near the 900 metres raced in restricted room and had to be eased when racing to the inside of FADED.
 
SAMMY SPARROW - Leaving the 400 metres had difficulty obtaining clear running, until near the 300 metres.
 
BLOODED - At the 200 metres laid out and proved difficult to ride out.
