Race 1: No Room Hire – Callaghan Park Function BenchMark 65 Handicap 1839M
1st- Doubos 2nd- San Raymond 3rd- I Can I Will I Am 4th- Hot Love Highway
 
PULSAR – When questioned regarding the scratching of the gelding, Trainer T Cook had concerns with regard to the track surface considering the horse was not overly sound.
HOT LOVE HIGHWAY – Raced keenly in the middle stages.
I CAN I WILL I AM – When questioned regarding its performance, App. Z White stated the gelding had felt flat from the 800m and on straightening had quicken somewhat but failed to run on. Trainer T Cook undertook to advise the Stewards of any abnormality came to light in the coming days. 
 
Race 2: RGS Past Students’ Association Maiden Handicap 1400m
1st- Wicked Investment 2nd- Boy In A Million 3rd- Splendaba 4th- Test My Friendship
 
TEST MY FRIENDSHIP – Explanation for the late declaration of rider was accepted.
WICKED INVESTMENT – Slow to begin.
BOY IN A MILLION – Hung out in the straight and was unable to be ridden out fully. Trainer M Attard advises Stewards he would remove the winkers and reapply the blinkers for its next start.
NEVAEH – Raced wide with no cover.
JUST ASKING – Tightened on jumping between NAVAEH and TEST MY FRIENDSHIP which shifted out and cause JUST ASKING to lose ground. Placed in restricted room and become awkward when another runner rolled in leaving the 900m.
CZARIST – Jumped in onto another runner.
 
 
Race 3: 1881 Endowment Class 2 Handicap 1500m
1st- Prince Of Baroda 2nd- Romanov 3rd- Munster 4th- Diamond Racer
ROMANOV – Rider reported that the gelding had lost its footing behind on jumping.
DIAMOND RACER – From the 300m commenced to hang out and placed the rider in difficulty in riding his mount out.
 
Race 4: The Rockhampton Grammar School Class 1 Handicap 1200m
1st- Mystic Forces 2nd- Two Of A Kind 3rd- Adarni 4th- Environmental
TWO OF A KIND – App. N Summers reported that her mount was inclined to lay in from the 500m to the 300m and as a result had difficulty shifting to the outside of another runner.
ADARNI – Near the 400m was held up for clear running momentarily.
 
Race 5:  Willow and Ivy BenchMark 65 Handicap 1050m
1st- Close The Beaches 2nd- Ossenhagen 3rd- Photobomb 4th- Touch Sensitive
DAM WONDERFUL – Stewards declared mare a late scratching at 10:35am. When advised that it was unable to be transported to the course.
DANE CHEVAL – Slow into stride and over-raced in the middle stages.
CLEATEAU – Began awkwardly. Raced 3 wide without cover until the 700m. Near the 400m hampered when another runner rolled out. Stewards sought an explained with regards to the riding tactics and performance of the gelding. Jockey A Butler stated that he was aware that the blinkers and tongue tie were removed and had been instructed to obtain a forward position if possible otherwise obtain cover. Jockey Butler further explained that he had settled further back than anticipated however in his opinion had finished the race off well and would perform better over a further distance when able to lead.
 
Race 6: Stevens Hay Supplies Rton Cup Sat 24 June BenchMark 70 Handicap 1300m
1st- French Hussler 2nd- Eljay Atom 3rd- Strategic Glory 4th- Nelamos
 
NELAMOS – Slow to begin.
EVENTIDE – Slow to begin.
COURTZIG – Near the 900m when restrained got its head up and had to be eased of the heels of another runner. App. Z White reported that she was concerned with its action of over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary inspection revealed that the mare had received a laceration on the off hind pastern consistent with being galloped on.
FRENCH HUSSLER – Jockey A Butler was fined $300 for a celebratory gesture prior to the winning post.
ELJAY ATOM – Jockey S Sheargold was fined $200 for returning to the scales in excess of a half kilogram overweight.
