SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT
 
From 3.8.17 Race 3: Trainer L. Rowe reported on the day following the event he observed a lump on the head of MONO LAD after the gelding returned to the stables. He advised that he was unaware of this condition at the time the horse had raced, however noted that it may have contributed to its performance.
 
Race 1: G AND L DUNNETT PLASTERBOARD CONTRACTORS BENCHMARK 70 H'CAP 1400M
 
BENTLES Slow to begin.
 
RISE TO FAME Became awkward near the 1050m when TURKEY BEACH rolled inwards.
 
Race 2: REES R AND SYDNEY JONES QTIS 3YO C&G MAIDEN H'CAP 1300M
 
VAN WINKEL A. Butler was reminded of his obligations regarding the use of the whip after stewards considered the totality of his whip use.
 
MOHICAN MAGIC Slow into stride.
 
LEND ME A TENNER Inclined to lay in in the straight.
 
BRILLIANT MISTAKE Placed in restricted room near the 900m to the inside of HIGH RIDER and had to be eased.

DAUNTING QUEEN Slow to begin
 
RED RUNNER Raced ungenerously in the early stages.
 
TOKAREV Slow to begin.
 
STYLE LINE Slow to begin and jumped inwards. Raced three wide without cover throughout.
 
DREAM COMMANDER Raced wide for the majority of the event.
 
Race 4: ALEXANDER BAUMAN CLASS 6 H'CAP 1050M
 
Prior to the declaration of correct weight, stewards viewed the patrol films with regard to an incident involving DAM WONDERFUL and APPLE THIEF over the concluding stages. Given the circumstances and the margin, correct weight was declared.
 
STRAIGHT GOLD Made contact with another runner at the start. Raced three wide without cover throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Connections advised that the intention would be to spell the gelding and consideration would be given to retiring the horse from professional racing.
 
APPLE THIEF Laid in over the concluding stages, making minor contact with DAM WONDERFUL. J. Stanley stopped riding and corrected his mount.
 
FLAVIAN Made contact with another runner at the start.
 
BULLS NN BEARS Began awkwardly.
 
DAM WONDERFUL Minor contact by another runner over the concluding stages.
 
Race 5: HAMILTON CQ PAINTING SERVICES CLASS 3 PLATE 1200M
 
HASHTAG YOLO Raced wide with cover.
 
RUSTY SCOOTER Jumped up at the start and began awkwardly, losing some ground.
 
HYPER DRIVE Slow to begin.
 
LUCKY CLOVER Slow to begin.
 
SUPER TUSCAN Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
Race 6: CONDON FINANCIAL PTY LTD RATINGS BAND 0 60 H'CAP
1600M
 
ROMANOV Made contact with another runner at the start. A. Coome reported that his mount had raced flat and from the 400m had failed to make up ground under pressure.
 
RESET EXPRESS On return to scale, A. Butler reported there was no obvious explanation for his mountts performance and he was of the opinion the travel had affected it after its previous start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the near foreleg, with wounds to both hind bumpers and an elevated heart rate. Connections were advised that a veterinary clearance would be required prior to the horsees next start.
 
RUBY RAY Made contact with another runner at the start.
 
LIGHTNING JACKSON Jumped awkwardly outwards and made contact with the barrier partition.
 
Race 7: CAPRAS RACEDAY RATINGS BAND 0 55 H'CAP 1100M
 
The start of this race was delayed when CRAIGLEA MISSION underwent a veterinary inspection at the request of the rider and was cleared to start.
 
MYSTIC LAD Commenced to buck shortly after the start, was restrained and took no competitive part in the race. Trainer J. Crane will be advised that the gelding will be required to complete two trials in a race saddle prior to its next start.
 
BONINO Jumped in at the start, making contact with POETIC SHOW, which was taken in on to MADAM PINK. L. Tilley dropped his whip leaving the 400m.
 
OUR INVESTMENT Slow to begin. Apprentice D. Graham reported that the saddle had slipped on her mount from the home turn.
 
MADAM PINK Bumped at the start. Raced wide without cover.
 
POETIC SHOW Bumped at the start and taken in on to another runner.
 
ROUGISSANTE Stewards accepted the explanation tendered by trainer Z. Hohn for the late declaration of D. Evans as rider. Removed from the barriers after being loaded, underwent a veterinary inspection and was passed to start. The horse returned to scale with a small amount of blood in its nostril after making contact with the barriers.
 
RELNINO Shifted out shortly after the start, hampering SKY BROOK. Apprentice Q. Krogh reported that the distance of todayys event was too short and in his opinion the mare would need further. Near 300 metres, shifted out and bumped another runner.
 
SKY BROOK Removed from the barriers, underwent a veterinary inspection and passed to take its place in the field. Hampered shortly after the start. Apprentice L. Dodds was fined $100 for making a celebratory gesture prior to the winning post. When questioned regarding the horsees improved performance, trainer G. Elliott advised that following the horsees previous start blood analysis was conducted and it was evident that the mare was tying up. He added that he had increased its work and altered its feeding regime and the mare had galloped well in the lead up to this particular race.
 
CRAIGLEA MISSION Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
THE CATHOLIC GIRL- Raced wide without cover throughout.
RESET OUR WORLD- Bumped by another runner near the 300 metres.
