Race 1: CLUB 150 2021 QTIS Two-Year-Old Maiden Handicap 1100 metres

CRAIGLEA BANDIT – Raced wide throughout the event. Raced greenly when placed under pressure in the straight and was unable to be fully tested. Trainer K Johnston was advised that CRAIGLEA BANDIT would be required to trial tractably prior to accepting for a future race. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

JUST SID – Race wide throughout the event.

KASHKAR – Held up for clear running on entering the home straight and approaching the 400m was disappointed for a run to the inside of DARE TO SHARE and as a result had to shift out to improve into clear running.

LOVE YOU LINDA – Race wide throughout the event.

WHISPERING MOSS – Raced ungenerously in the early stages. Jockey B Appo was fined $300 for returning to scale more then 0.5kgs overweight under AR211.

Race 2: RJC MEMBERSHIPS ONLINE @ ROCKHAMPTON TICKETS Maiden Handicap 1600 metres

TEELING – Overraced in the middle stages.

NAVARRE –Slow to begin. Laid in under pressure in the straight. Approaching the 300m, rolled in momentarily inconveniencing MATAGORDA. Jockey A Sewell was reminded of his obligation to stop and straighten his mounts when they shift ground in future.

MATAGORDA – Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight. Approaching the 300m was tightened for running between ESPEREUS who was carried out by RAW INSTINCT, and NAVAREE who laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.

SEEING DIAMONDS – Jumped away awkwardly. Overraced in the early and middle stages.

DUNTROON MAN – Slow into stride.

PRINCESS AMITY – Overraced in the early and middle stages. Jockey H Phillips reported that her mount shied at a number of patches throughout the race.

ESPEREUS – Approaching the 800m had to be restrained after improving onto the heels of RAW INSTINCT. Approaching the 300m had to be steadied to avoid the heels of RAW INSTINCT which shifted out when insufficiently clear. Jockey B. El’Issa, rider of RAW INSTINCT was severely reprimanded under the provisions of AR131(a).

Race 3: SUMMER RACING SATURDAY 23 JANUARY QTIS Three-Year-Old Maiden Handicap 1200 metres

ROCKY BALBOA – Hung out in the early stages and trailed the field throughout. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Trainer T Cook advised ROCKY BALBOA would now be retired. Mr Cook was advised should the gelding return to racing he would be required to trial competitively prior to a future race start.

BAGGER TWISTIES – Underwent a pre race veterinary examination and was passed fit to start.

PLAYING HOOKIE – Slow to begin.

SCORIA STAR – Jumped away awkwardly. Laid out when placed under pressure in the home straight proving difficult to ride out to the finish. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Trainer M Lehmann was advised warning would be placed on the record of the filly.

LADY LOWBURN – Jumped away awkwardly. Held up for clear running on entering the home straight. Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.

Race 4: EVENTS AT CALLAGHAN PARK OPEN Handicap 1300 metres

ELLE A WALKING – Race wide throughout the event.

MR TINDALL – Overraced in the early and middle stages.

NOTORIETY – A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

MYZABOOM – Overraced in the early and middle stages.

Race 5: FOLLOW US ON FACEBOOK BENCHMARK 58 Handicap 1300 metres

PLANET WARRIOR –Slow to begin.

MYSTERY ELEMENT –Overraced in the early and middle stages.

PRETTY MAMA (NZ) – Slow to begin.

EMBER – Approaching the 800m had to be restrained to avoid the heels of SUNRISE DANCER which shifted when insufficiently clear. Apprentice M. Potgieter, rider of SUNRISE DANCER, was reprimanded under AR131(a).

Race 6: CAUGHT IN THE ACT PHOTOGRAPHY BENCHMARK 65 Handicap 1600 metres

STONE WARRIOR (NZ) – When questioned regarding the improved performance, Trainer J Manzelmann stated that STONE WARRIOR had pleased in its worked leading into todays event and dropping back into its own grade, received a good run and was confident in an improved performance.

BONVILLE (NZ) – Jumped away awkwardly.

ANNMARIE – Slow to begin.

CASH BUNDLE – Overraced in the early and middle stages. Momentarily inconvenienced on entering the home straight.

COMBATTANT DE RUE – Jumped away awkwardly.

Race 7: CAPRICORNIA YEARLING SALE - SUNDAY 11 APRIL BENCHMARK 70 Handicap 1100 metres

AHWAHNEECHEE – Slow to begin.

WHOSYOURHOUSEMATE (GB) – Knuckled on jumping away. Raced wide throughout the event.

QUIDNI – Stewards permitted Jockey B. El’Issa to replace Jockey R Wiggins who was unable to make the weight. Jockey R Wiggins was fined $200 under AR190(3).

ASPEN LAD – Jumped away awkwardly. Slow to begin. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

ASTRAL ODYSSEY – Slow to begin.

Race 8: #CYS21 RATINGS BAND 0 - 55 Handicap 1100 metres

WIDE LOAD – Race wide throughout the event.

RAY'S JUNCTION – Raced green when placed under pressure in the straight.
