HIDDEN JOY – Overraced in the early and middle stages. A post race veterinary examination revealed the filly to be lame in the near fore leg. Trainer Mr N Walsh was advised a veterinary clearance of fitness would be required prior to accepting for a future race or trial. GOLDEN GROOVE – Underwent a pre race veterinary examination which found an corneal ulcer to the right eye resulting in discomfort and impaired vision. GOLDEN GROOVE was declared a late scratching at 1.40pm on veterinary advice. MANIFICA – Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight. MY BYE – Jumped away awkwardly, shifting in carrying I LOVE THIS HIPPY, in onto CHAMPAGNE AT DAWN. Raced greenly rounding the home turn. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. CALL ME BEL – Raced wide throughout the event. Momentarily inconvenienced approaching the 650m by MY BYE, which was racing green. CHAMPAGNE AT DAWN – Hampered at the start and lost ground as a result. MAXI – Underwent a prerace veterinary examination after not competing in the past twelve months and was passed fit to start. Jumped away awkwardly and shifted in abruptly. Overraced in the early and middle stages. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. SETLIN SAGE – Raced wide throughout the event. KEEN AS A BEAN – Jumped away awkwardly. Held up for clear running on entering the home straight till approaching the 400m after shifting out to improve. SCORIA STAR – Approaching the winning post became awkward in its stride. Race 3: CALLAGHAN PARK FUNCTIONS AND EVENTS CENTRE QTIS Three-Year-Old Maiden 1300 metresRAYSAND ROCKET –Raced wide throughout the event. BEANHUGGED – Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight. ZIMBOOMBAH – Slow to begin. Rider reported that he accidentally dropped his rein for a number of strides inside the 100m. SHEMADEMEDOIT – A post race veterinary examination revealed lacerations to the near hind leg. BOLD ADVANCE – Slow to begin. Approaching the 900m had to be restrained after improving onto the heels of RAYSAND ROCKET. MOTHERLODE – Overraced in the early and middle stages. Approaching the 900m had to be restrained after improving onto the heels of SEEING DIAMONDS. BEL'S DESIRE – A post race veterinary examination revealed the filly to lame in the off fore leg. Trainer Mr G Taylor was advised a veterinary clearance of fitness would be required prior to accepting for a future race or trial. READY BETTY – Momentarily inconvenienced approaching the 200m after laying in across the heels of SEEING DIAMONDS. SAGITTARIUS – Overraced in the early and middle stages. SEEING DIAMONDS – Overraced in the early and middle stages. Approaching the 900m had to be restrained after improving onto the heels of SAGITTARIUS. Following the running of this event Jockey M McGillivray was examined by Queensland Ambulance Officers and was passed fit to fulfil his remaining engagements. Mi Race 4: FOLLOW US ON FACEBOOK OPEN Handicap 1400 metres DAUNTING QUEEN – Slow to begin. CORAL BAY – Slow to begin. TAKINGS – Underwent a prerace veterinary examination after competing in the past seven days and was passed fit to start. Jockey N Seymour was fined $300 under AR132(7)(a)(ii) for using his whip on seven occasions prior to the 100m, two more than permitted. MASON'S CHANCE – Underwent a prerace veterinary examination after competing in the past seven days and was passed fit to start. Slow to begin. Overraced in the early and middle stages. Raced wide throughout the event. Race 5: 2021 CAPRICORNIA YEARLING SALE RATINGS BAND 0 - 65 Handicap 1600 metres FAST TRAIN – Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight. SPRINGTHORPE – Underwent a prerace veterinary examination after competing in the past seven days and was passed fit to start. Held up clear running approaching the 200m and had to shift wider to improve into clear running. BROMES – Jumped away awkwardly. Overraced in the early and middle stages. MYSTERY ELEMENT – Hampered on jumping away. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. CENTAUR – Overraced in the early and middle stages. FIGHTING FAITH – Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight. WHAT A THOUGHT – Overraced in the early and middle stages. MAGIC WISHES – Underwent a prerace veterinary examination after competing in the past seven days and was passed fit to start. Race 6: ROCKY RACECOURSE MARKETS EVERY SUNDAY Class 4 Plate 1300 metres BANTU BAY – Jumped away awkwardly. Passing the 400m shifted out whilst weakening taking TYCOON FLYER out onto SOLAR PANEL. Rider reported that his mount never felt comfortable at any stage of the event. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. DON'T WAIVER – Hampered on jumping away. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. TYCOON FLYER – Commence to overrace after being crossed by BANTU BAY passing the 1000m. Passing the 400m tightened out onto SOLAR PANEL by BANTU BAY which shifted out. THREE STRIPES – Late scratching on veterinary advice at 9.50am. Trainer R Bowan was advised a veterinary clearance of fitness would be required prior to accepting for a future race or trial. SOLAR PANEL – Passing the 400m was momentarily inconvenienced by TYCOON FLYER who was carried out by BANTU BAY. Race 7: BOOK IN FOR THE BIG BREAKY EVERY SUNDAY BENCHMARK 70 Handicap 1050 metres JACK LANCASTER – Underwent a prerace veterinary examination after competing in the past seven days and was passed fit to start. BELZU – Hampered on jumping away. SANGLIER – Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight. HIDDEN GODDESS – Fractious prior to the start being affected, jumped away awkwardly and as a result was slow to begin. BOSS BABY – Held up on entering the home straight till passing the 300m ASTRAL ODYSSEY – Jumped away awkwardly and shifted in abruptly contacting BELZU. Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight. Race 8: TAB Class 1 Handicap 1050 metres AUXIN – Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight. Jockey was reprimanded under AR132(5) for using his whip on 15 occasions in total. WOODLEY'S GOLD – Galloped on passing the 700m. Rider reported that after being galloped on passing the 700m, he became concerned with the action of the gelding and as a result elected to not place his mount under pressure over the concluding stages. A post race veterinary examination revealed lacerations to both hind legs. FAST SONG – Raced ungenerously in the early stages and shifted in abruptly. SWEET VENOM – Held up for clear running on entering the home straight till inside the 200m. Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight. TALK'EMAROUND – Underwent a prerace veterinary examination after not competing in the past twelve months and was passed fit to start. A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding had bled from both nostrils. Trainer S Paoll was advised of the provisions of AR79(4).
