RIVER DAISY – Jumped away awkwardly. Overraced in the early and middle stages. CRAIGLEA BANDIT – Hampered on jumping away. MAX'N'MAT – Trainer was advised that the gelding would be warned in relation to being difficult to load. Hampered on jumping away. REFUTATION – Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight. ROCK READY – Overraced in the early and middle stages. MAHKOTA ROSE – Underwent a pre race veterinary examination and was passed fit to start.ROMANTIQUE – Hampered on jumping away. SCHAPPOSE (NZ) – Laid out when placed under pressure in the straight. BROMES – Overraced in the early and middle stages. Approaching the 100m had to be restrained to avoid the heels of SCHAPPOSE (NZ) which rolled out marginally and WHYKAYOH, which ran in and away from INDERNILE. Apprentice A. Patis, rider of SCHAPPSE (NZ), was reminded of her obligations to stop and straighten her mounts when they shift ground in future.WHYKAYOH – Slow to begin. Overraced in the early and middle stages. HIDDEN GODDESS – Overraced in the early and middle stages. ANGOLA MISS – Raced wide throughout the event. Race 3: Great Northern Crisp Class 6 Handicap 1300 metresGYPSY BIKER – Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight. Passing the 150m had to take hold to avoid the heels of CAVELLTON which shifted out when insufficiently clear. Jockey M. McGillivray, rider of CAVELLTON, was found guilty of a charge of careless riding in that he allowed his mount to shift ground when not clear. Following the barriers being repositioned at the 1200m, DR NEIGH became fractious, dislodged its rider and galloped a significant distance.
