Race 1: GET YOUR CAULFIELD GARDEN PARTY TICKETS QTIS THREE-YEAR-OLD HANDICAP 1100 M I'M BLUEY – Bumped at start and then raced ungenerously for a short distance. FINE SHOT – Slow to begin. Over raced in the early stages. MISTREY EMPEROR – Jumped inwards at the start bumping DRAGON’S SNIP DRAGON'S SNIP – Inclined to lay out for the final 600m. LEIBERT LASS – Jumped outwards at the start impeding I’M BLUEY. Race 2: NUTURF RATINGS BAND 0 - 70 HANDICAP 1050 M KAHAYLAAN – Slow to begin. Raced ungenerously in the early stages. QUEEN ASSASSIN – Slow to begin. TEST OF WAR – Carried wider near the 800m and raced wide thereafter. KAYLEEN – Slow to begin. Held up for clear racing room in the early part of the home straight. NIC ME SOME – Over raced in the early and middle stages. Near the 800m, when over racing, shifted outwards and carried TEST OF WAR wider. Jockey D Evans was reprimanded under AR132(7)(a)(ii) in that he used his whip on 6 occasions prior to the 100m, 1 more than permitted. Race 3: BUTLER PARTNERS OPEN HANDICAP 1200 M KNIGHT'S SWORD – Near the 700m was briefly tightened. Briefly tightened near the 300m. GRAND DE LAGO – Began awkwardly. Shifted in and tightened KNIGHTS SWORD near the 700m. Near the 300m shifted in under pressure briefly tightening NIGHTS SWORD. Jockey N Summers was reminded of her obligations to ensure her horses do not shift ground. Jockey N Summers was fined $300 under AR132(7)(a)(ii) for applying the whip to her mount on 6 occasions prior to the 100m, 1 more than permitted. Race 4: CQ BUILDING CERTIFICATION MAIDEN HANDICAP 1400 M NOTQUITELIKEJACK – Held up for clear racing room until approaching the 200m. VICTORY'S GHOST – Over raced in the early stages. Laid in under pressure in the home straight. THE EIGHTH I AM – Began awkwardly. Hung in throughout and most noticeably when placed under pressure in the home straight. Jockey J Stanley reported, that due to the gelding’s manners he had significant difficulty when riding the horse out to the finish. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Trainer R Vale advised that the gelding will likely to be spelled. WHATJEUDOIN' – Slow to begin. TEENAGE DIRTBAG – Raced wide throughout. REGAL FIELD – Slow to begin. DIVINE KAMEHALANI – Slow to begin. Shifted wider leaving the 500m to obtain clear racing room. MAGNUSDOTTIR – Permitted to race barefoot behind as the gelding cast a plate prior to racing and proved difficult to be reshod. MISHANI CAPTIVE – Jockey N Summers was reprimanded under AR132(7)(a)(ii) in that she used her whip on 7 occasions prior to the 100m, 2 more than permitted. SEA MUD 'N' SUN – Apprentice jockey O Webb was reprimanded under AR132(7)(a)(ii) in that she used her whip on 6 occasions prior to the 100m, 1 more than permitted. Race 5: CENTRE STATE SIGNS BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP 1300 M MOENAVE – Hung in under pressure in the home straight. Jockey J Murphy was fined $300 under AR132(7)(a)(ii) for applying the whip to his mount on 6 occasions prior to the 100m, 1 more than permitted. ANTAGONISER - A post-race veterinary examination showed the horse to be suffering a case of the thumps. BEST SONG – Reared as the gates opened, then stood flat footed and missed the start by a considerable margin. Hung in under pressure in the home straight. Trainer L Wanless was advised a warning would be placed on the mare’s barrier manners. Race 6: RJC GALA BALL 25TH NOVEMBER BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP 1500 M FRECKLE ROCK – Apprentice L O’Donnell was reprimanded under AR143(14)(a) for failing to claim her full allowance. Ms O’Donnell was permitted to claim 2.5kg as opposed to her full 3kg allowance after consultation with Trainer R Vale. A public announcement was made to this effect and the information disseminated via social media. Raced wide early. SRINI – Laid out under pressure in the home straight. MURRAJONG ROAD (NZ) – Raced wide early before being restrained to the rear of the field. NASHA – Slow to begin. Inclined to lay in under pressure in the home straight. Jockey J Stanley reported that after being slow to begin the mare settled at the rear of the field which is against her usual racing pattern. Mr Stanley added that he was able to save significant ground by remaining on the inside, which enabled NASHA to finish the race off well. The Jockey further stated that his mounts efforts were also assisted by the fast tempo. Race 7: TAB CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1200 M GLOWSTICKS – Returned to the mounting yard with a laceration to the near hind leg. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no anomalies or lameness. LIP SIP SUK – Laid in under pressure in the home straight. THE LAST SAGA – Began awkwardly bumping with ADAMS APPLE. Hung in under pressure over the concluding stages. Near the 75m shifted outwards to obtain clear running resulting in GABRIELLE being inconvenienced. Jockey D Evans was reminded of his obligations when shifting ground. LUVIN' OUR GRACE – Began awkwardly. Over raced in the early and middle stages. ADAM'S APPLE – Bumped at the start. Jockey C McIver was reminded of his obligations with regard to the use of his whip when out of contention. Returned to the mounting yard with a laceration to the near hind leg. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no anomalies or lameness. APRIL LOVE – Raced wide throughout. Race 8: GREAT NORTHERN RATINGS BAND 0 - 55 HANDICAP 1050 M FAV'S FLYER – Near the 350m baulked and became unbalanced when overreaching and lost noticeable ground. FIGHTING MAD – Hampered at the start. DESERT MOON – Raced wide throughout. IMAGINE THAT – Hampered at the start. LOVE MY LOUIS – Hampered at the start. In the home straight was held up for clear running and then checked off the heels of FAVS FLYER for some distance near the 350m. ELESPRIT MISS – Began awkwardly and was slow to begin. Laid out under pressure over the final 400m. SILENT ANGEL – Raced wide for the majority. SPOT THE DOT – Jumped inwards noticeably at the start hampering LOVE MY LOUIE, IMAGINE THAT and FIGHTING MAD. Raced wide with cover throughout. Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
