RACE 1: MIDWEST RURAL TRADERS MAIDEN PLATE – 1000M1ST – TICKET TO DALLAS 2ND – ROYAL TONE 3RD - WICKED HUNDRED 4TH – CRUNCH TIME DENMAN DUDE – As no other senior jockey was available, Stewards permitted C Dixon to ride the gelding at 3.5kg over its allotted weight. Stood flat-footed at the start and lost ground. Trainer B. Waldron was advised a warning would be placed on the gelding. WICKED HUNDRED – Began awkwardly and shifted out abruptly at the start. TICKET TO DALLAS – Hampered at the start. MEATBALL – Slow to muster speed. Jockey C. Eaton reported the gelding, which was having its first race start, raced very greenly throughout. CRUNCH TIME – Bumped with another runner at the start. ROYAL TONE - Bumped with another runner at the start. RACE 2: BORAL BENCHMARK 60 H’CAP – 1000M1ST – HAMILTON 2ND – EXSTRATUM 3RD – ISSY COMMAND 4TH – JEDDA’S GIRL The start of this race was delayed when WHO’S NEXT was unable to be loaded. WHO’S NEXT was declared a late scratching at 2.17pm by order of Stewards. All monies invested on WHO’S NEXT were ordered to be refunded, with the following deductions applicable: 0 cents in the dollar for the winner #510 cents in the dollar for the place of #516 cents in the dollar for second place #3 Starting prices are subject to deductions. Trainer’s representative S. Watkins was advised WHO’S NEXT would need to obtain a further barrier certificate prior to racing again. BIG BRITCHES – Began awkwardly and shifted out. BROWN DOUBT – Attempted to buck for a considerable distance after the start and took no competitive part in the event. Trainer B. Waldron was advised the gelding would need to trial satisfactorily before racing again. HAMILTON – Brushed with another runner near the 600m. EXSTRATUM - Brushed with another runner near the 600m. RACE 3: BRANDON AND ASSOCIATES CLASS B H’CAP – 1000M1ST – SARGOOD LANE 2ND – THAT’S THE PLAN 3RD – RAVELLING 4TH – SIR CLISBY SARGOOD LANE – Raced wide throughout. RACE 4: BENDEMERE CONSTRUCTIONS BENDEMERE CUP OPEN PLATE – 1000M1ST – LEAVESDEN 2ND – NUDE SECRETS 3RD – ALBERTIQUE 4TH – FOUR IRON FOUR IRON – Slow to begin.
