RACE 1: MUGGLETON MAIDEN PLATE – 100m
 
BROWN BROWN – Began awkwardly and lost ground.
 
RACE 2: RASLIE CHADFORD BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP – 1000m
 
GORESBRIDGE – Sustained an injury to the near fore cannon prior to the event. Declared a late scratching upon veterinary advice at 12:00pm.
 
REVERSE LOGIC – Began awkwardly. Over-raced throughout the early and middle stages.
 
RELNINO – Upon returning to scale, Jockey J. Missen reported that his mount was inclined to hang out from the 600m.
 
DAYTIME DANCER – Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
 RACE 3: BRANDON & ASSOCIATES CLASS B HANDICAP – 1000m
 
MOSS HEART – Raced wide without cover throughout the early and middle stages.
 
SQUALL – Laid out throughout the early stages.
 
UNACCOMPANIED – Began awkwardly.
 
RACE 4: SYDEVA HAULAGE BENDEMERE CUP OPEN PLATE – 1000m
 
MY COUSIN BOSSY – Apprentice N. Morton was fined $100 under AR.120b in that she was unable to make the allotted weight. Replacements as per Stewards Summary.
 
HARD STRIDE – Eased from heels for a short distance approaching the 800m when improved.
 
REPO ZEST – Raced wide throughout.
 
 
 
RACE 5: PICKANJINNIE BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP – 1200m
 
HIGH CALL – Sustained injuries to its legs during transport.  Declared a late scratching at 2:15pm upon veterinary advice. Stewards advised trainer B. Johnstone that the gelding would require a veterinary certificate prior to returning to race. 
 
ROSOVER – Upon returning to scale, Jockey G. Steele reported that in her opinion her mount was galloped on approaching the 800m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed superficial lacerations to the mare’s hind legs.
 
SCENT OF A WOMAN – Taken in in by another runner to the outside at the 800m. improved onto heels and was forced to restrain at the 750m.
 
BOLTIN’ DESIRE – Shifted in at the 800m taking in another runner to the inside. Apprentice S. Wilcock was advised to exercise more care.
