Race 1:BARRY EVANS, STAN PARK, VIV HUMPHREY'S MEMORIAL
QTIS MAIDEN PLATE – 1000m
 
GOIN’ GRAND – As the mare had not raced in the twelve months prior to todays event, it underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was subsequently passed fit to start. Refused to proceed to the barriers. Declared a late scratching by order of the stewards at 1:25pm. Stewards ordered that all monies invested in GOIN’ GRAND be refunded with the following deductions to apply:
 
  0 cents in the dollar for the win - #9
17 cents in the dollar for the place of winner - #9
  6 cents in the dollar for 2nd placegetter – #6
24 cents in the dollar for 3rd placegetter - #2
 
Trainer B. Waldron was advised the mare would require a trial to satisfaction of stewards prior to returning to racing.
 
 
LEICA SPECIAL - Began awkwardly.
 
MY BYE – Began awkwardly and lost ground. Raced wide without cover from the 600m.
 
GREAT BRAVE – Slow into stride.
 
SKY TOUCH – Blundered on jumping and lost ground.

SIZZLING SUZANNE – Began awkwardly.
 
FRENCH VIDA – Slow to begin, slow into stride.
 
No further racing incidents
 
Race 3:SYDEVA HAULAGE BENDEMERE CUP OPEN PLATE – 1000m
 
ILBANDITO – Began awkwardly tightening another runner to the outside.
 
BENICHI PEGASUS – Tightened for room shortly after the start and lost ground.
 
TROMMELSCHLAGEN – Began awkwardly.
 
GENDEBIEN – Raced three wide without cover throughout. Inclined to lay in throughout.
 
 
Race 4:PICKANJINNIE MUGGLETON BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP – 900m
 
BELLA’S BROTHER – Slow to begin.
 
USURP – Began awkwardly.
 
FOXY BELLA – Began awkwardly. Laid in under pressure in the home straight. ‘
 
Race 5:RASLIE CHADFORD BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP – 1200m
 
PHONZIA – Fractious in barrier.
 
MS WICKED NICCI – Slow to begin.
