Moveable rail 3 metres out for the entire circumference

GENERAL: As apprentice A. Morrison was indisposed he was replaced as follows:
Race 3 NEVER IN DOUBT Apprentice A. Merritt
Race 5 ROMAN NEWS Apprentice D. Evans

As apprentice A. Green was also indisposed she was replaced as follows:
Race 2 COUNT CAPRICE Apprentice J. Bryant
Race 6 KUAKA QUEEN Apprentice N. Tomizawa



RACE 1
MT BEERWAH HANDICAP 1600 metres

After being slow to begin SOON A KING raced ungenerously in the early and middle stages.

RACE 2
MT TIBROGARGAN HANDICAP 1600 metres

BEER BELLY BOB was slow to begin.
EMERALD PRINCE jumped away awkwardly and made contact with the hind quarters of KAAPRIESTO.

RACE 3
MT COONOWRIN HANDICAP 1200 metres

SHADAT was slow to begin.
Shortly after the start JAKE’S PICK was hampered between SHADEAL PRINCE and NEVER IN DOUBT.
Approaching the home turn FURIOUSITY shifted out taking SHADAT out on to PULL MY STRING.

RACE 4
PACIFIC FORD HANDICAP 1000 metres

Approaching the 800 metres COUNTY SPIRIT shifted out taking ZALZALLA wider on the track.
A short distance later COUNTY SPIRIT and ZALZALLA made contact resulting in COUNTY SPIRIT having to be steadied off the heels of SECRET OBSESSION.

RACE 5
BLACKLAW CIVIL CONTRACTORS HANDICAP 1200 metres

Approaching the 200 metres CORNWALL BAY had to be steadied when GOLD COIN shifted out.
Stable foreman for trainer G. Ryan reported that CONAIR had swallowed its tongue during the event.

RACE 6
NEIL MANSELL LANDSCAPING HANDICAP 1300 metres

Approaching the 900 metres KUAKA QUEEN was hampered between PRIDE OF BANMORE and SEA BREAK which shifted out.
Approaching the home turn KUAKA QUEEN had to be steadied off the heels of PRIDE OF BANMORE which shifted out slightly.
After passing the 200 metres PRIDE OF BANMORE was accidentally struck over the head by the whip of M. Cahill rider of SEA BREAK.

RACE 7
XXXX HANDICAP 1300 metres

As apprentice A. Merritt was stood down by the Club Doctor he was replaced on RIP WISKER by apprentice N. Tomizawa.
RENAZZO was slow to begin.
On jumping RELEVANCE was hampered by PALTROW which shifted out.
Approaching the 200 metres M. Aspinall rider of HELEN’S HONEY was accidentally struck by the whip of A. Gould rider of MEGAFUN.
Passing the 150 metres PALTROW was disappointed for a run between NAFANA and ALL IN AWE which shifted in slightly.

RACE 8
CALOUNDRA R.S.L. HANDICAP 1000 metres

G. Lynch will be spoken to regarding his failure to fulfil his engagement on ARCTIC RUNNER. G. Lynch was subsequently replaced by M. Aspinall.
After being slow to begin SEE YOU IN PARIS was hampered shortly after the start by BEN MAGIC which shifted in.
MY LOURDES and PAST BLAST were hampered at the start when TINKER’S FANCY shifted in and RAWCOMOTION shifted out.
Approaching the 800 metres RAWCOMOTION had to be steadied off the heels of BEN MAGIC.
BEN MAGIC then shifted out taking MY LOURDES out across the heels of PAST BLAST and had to be steadied.
Apprentice M. Rodd rider of RAWCOMOTION accidentally dropped his whip near the 200 metres.




All winners were swabbed.
