Race 1:  BFX Furniture Class 1 H'cap – 1600m
 
KERMANDIE STAR – Slow to begin.
 
TORONTO FLYER – When the pace was only steady in the early and middle stages, overraced at heels and had to be steadied. Checked from heels at the 1200m and again approaching the 800m.  Became awkward at heels after passing the 600m.
 
 
Race 2:  Construction Industry Training Class 4 H'cap – 1000m
 
PINNEUX – Bled both nostrils.  Connections were advised that a 3 month bar from racing would imposed on the gelding.
 
 
Race 3:  Higgins Coatings Maiden H’cap - 1000m
 
LONE MARKSMAN – Slow to begin, and then was tightened for room shortly afterwards.  Lost off hind plate in running.
 
SUMO ESPRIT – Jumped away awkwardly, bumped another runner and lost ground.
 
 
PETRIA’S HEART – Bumped by another runner at the start.
 
CAESAR’S SECRET – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
JET LIONER – Near the 800m had to be steadied from heels when placed in restricted room.
 
CEDAR RAPIDS – After being held up rounding the home turn, then raced greenly when attempting to secure a run approaching the 300m and shifted in, having to be steadied from heels.  Trainer B. Baldwin was fined $100 for adding gear to the saddle after weighing out.
 
SHE’S ON POINT – Lost its near fore plate in running.
 
 
Race 4:  Boss Hire Maiden Plate - 1400m
 
ALSEEYA – Apprentice C. Bayliss was admonished for using his whip when clearly winning.
 
RANDOM WAY – A post race veterinary examination revealed the horse to be suffering form heat stress.
 
 
Race 5: Marc Air Conditioning Services QTIS 3yo Maiden Plate – 1400m
 
RAHDANE – Declared a late scratching on veterinary advice.
 
RED BOLTER -  Change of tactics – To be ridden more forward if circumstances permit. Subsequently settled midfield. Rider L. Dittman dropped his whip at the 300m.
 
ENGRAVED – A pre-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have lost its off fore shoe, causing a portion of the hoof to be removed.  The horse underwent a veterinary attention and after being inspected by the veterinary surgeon was cleared to take its place in the field.
 
MUSGREY HILL – Raced with its head in the air for a short distance near the 1000m when being restrained.
 
 
Race 6: GR Fleet Services Class 1 H'cap – 1200m
 
NAVAJO PRINCE – Tightened for room at the start and had to be checked.
 
NORTHERN WINGS – Reared as the start was effected.
